    This guy is fantastic at making trailers - the water trails had only JUST been added in this older build, shame he couldn't wait a couple more weeks until it started looking better.     I saw lots of Red Golf GTI's and lots of blue Golf R's :) And then I drove both around the PI race track. Was fun :cheeese: Heading home I had a white Scirroco R behind me - when I see its bonnet in my rear view mirror I always think it's a Nissan Silvia or similar behind me.

    There's good arcade games and there's bad ones. Codies were doing great with DiRT 2 but every racing game release since then has felt worse and generally been shipped with stupid bugs in the control and profile system. I purchased both DiRT 3, F1 2010, and DiRT Showdown and for all games combined the number of hours spent playing them would be a single digit. GRID often felt very wobbly through the wheel as well, playable if not in drifting mode but not super fun. GRID 2 might be good, and hey I hope it is, you can never have too many good car games, but for all the hype those guys write in their article, they just don't seem like the type who enjoy real racing as well (if they do then they'll have to reserve their acclaims for Project CARS next year) :)

    I must admit the torque was pretty high so I didn't downshift too much. Took most corners in 3rd, the hairpin in 2nd, the last 2 corners in 4th.

    Hmmm well I picked Sunday for Dan's benefit, but he hasn't joined yet so we can change to Saturday if you want. Otherwise not a lot I can do atm. Of course you guys are welcome to see if we're still playing when you do eventually wake up (I'll probably be gone by then but you can keep playing).

    1:49.322 Hockenheim is looking a lot nicer sine our last comp there. Hard to focus on the road. Atom is handling super sweet now as well, easily drifted and not twitchy or skittish any more. Might have some footage for you later, lower FPS while recording did slow me up a tiny bit.

    Morning train was doing 100kph today (checked on my phone GPS), felt like the train was going to fall apart :lol: I assume the 100kph speed limits are designed for the country V-Line trains, not the metro ones.
