  1. Saturday morning UK time. I should have all DLC. Would someone be hosting a dedicated server for this?
  2. I'm guessing the vote to kick lollygag is a joke because he's quick
  3. Every second mark is a facelift. 1-2 are similar, 3-4 are pretty similar as well. Not a fan of the steering wheel shape/size. I guess the GTI one will be smaller. I'd be more interested in the 7 here if the larger satnav were available. VW Aus have said no to importing it.
  4. Don't be fooled with lemons.... *fools us with lemon-coloured lemon image displayed prominently* (a fun lemon, of course)
  5. Some other options Detailed List of Electric Cars and Plug-in Hybrids | PluginCars.com
  6. I didn't mind the previous body but the new update to the nose isn't to my liking.
  7. So Mike thinks the Tesla is boring. Well, compared to a La Ferrari, it certainly is. But if all we had available right now were the current crop of electric/hydrogen -only cars, I can't think of anything better (mostly due to the interior and straight-line performance). In the corners it's going to be boring, but I can't remember the last time I "went for a drive". It's been months since I last went for a ride. So, if we suddenly couldn't drive any car with a petrol/diesel/chip oil -fueled engine, what takes your fancy as a daily driver? If you want you can also mention a hybrid vehicle in addition to (not instead of) an electric-only or hydrogen-only vehicle.
  8. It's just easy to pickup for a spare 30 or so minutes most nights. It came out a year ago.
  9. New Tesla P100D model (with optional ludicrous mode) is proclaimed as the world's fastest production car (excluding the limited run La Ferrari and Porsche 918) Tesla Model S and Model x get unparalleled speed, range upgrades | Ars Technica
  10. NMS has been more humm drum in last few hours and RL swings from great fun to very frustrating multiple times per hour. :) Also Project CARS PS4 league races each Sunday night which are tough work but good fun. Currently 2nd in the tournament with 2 races to go.
  11. Darn, I forgot to do that. Hey Diablo :hiya: I QUIT! :gmc:
  12. The biggest problem is that it almost certainly will not work with my steering wheel. So it could be the best GT ever and I wouldn't see the point of getting it. It seems that the 'best' PS4 wheel right now is still the Thrustmaster T300 which doesn't look that good. Not compared to what I currently have. And yet my wheel works just fine on PS4 in Project CARS only because they took the effort (and ignored the politics) to support it, which just makes it so much more insulting for GT and DriveClub. Support / FAQ PlayStation compatibility - Fanatec Forum Could you imagine if TV makers had to get Sony licenses to work with a PS4 console? That's kinda how ridiculous this is. It works, but it doesn't, because money.
  13. Reminds me of my 2008 system. I literally RMA'd every major part and became a nuisance to the shop. Tests found no errors bu the system would just freeze at random. None of the parts ended up being faulty per se, just the brand/model of RAM was incompatible with my motherboard/CPU. So I sold the Corsair RAM back to the shop at a loss and purchased some G.Skill RAM instead and the system still runs solid as a rock to this day being used by a friend who does iRacing on triple screens with a G27. Incidentally after 2 Corsair SSD's have also failed on me I'll never buy another Corsair product again. If your local PC parts shop has a flat fee 'troubleshooting' service I'd consider making this their problem.
  14. Is red 5 from a Star Wars film where they take down the death star?
  15. "Whoops, how did that get in here" :o
  16. He deleted his own post and account, likely due to hate PMs.
  17. It seems that every day there is a new article, video, or reddit thread adding more and more things that Sean Murray promised but (as yet has) filed to deliver in the initial August 2016 release No Man's Sky on PC and PS4. Have plans changed drastically at the last minute, or has Sean been outright lying the whole time during his interviews? Can you land on an asteroid? Can you fly into a star? Can you fly between solar systems without warping? Do the the planets rotate and orbit stars? Can you find other human players and play together? Are the possibilities endless? These are some of the things Sean has said definite yes' to, but players have been discovering otherwise. The planets do not move. The stars do not exist. What we have is just a basic skybox no different to the starry sky you'd see in Project CARS or The Crew at night. Warping between systems is basically a loading screen. Players who have decrypted/unpacked the PC files have even found a special 'E3 planet' that Sean said didn't exist, and was completely random and procedurally generated. Two players stood on the exact same spot of a planet, both streaming the same vista, but ultimately did not determine each others' appearance. A network technician later used a packet monitoring tool (such as Ethereal) and conclusively stated that No Man's Sky was not transmitting any location to the Internet, therefore making multiplayer all but non-existent. (Why HG would add a last-minute scan feature to increase the chance of players 'not finding' each other and thus exposing this seems a rather odd decision). Now, we know that Hello Games do plan to continue working on this title, and that Sean said they would be free (so they probably won't be), so perhaps something like multiplayer was intended to come later long before anyone got close to potentially meeting up. Perhaps HG and Sony couldn't come to an agreement over PS+ requirements, so an existing feature was scrapped and NDA'd. We've seen preorder boxes ship with stickers covering 'network' feature icons. If you've missed the news, the video compilation below sums up a lot of it. If you want a more in-depth list of broken promises, well that's currently available here. So does this mean the game is bad? No. If you've not looked into every interview Sean has ever done (or read the first part of this post, sorry about that...) then what you don't know probably won't hurt you. In fact, the less you know, the better it is, because game is much simpler under the hood than the experience and feeling it attempts to deliver. An old proverb says 'Expectation postponed makes the heart sick'. Even after release, the hope, the expectation of the potential of this game still seems to be causing massive heartaches and divisions in the NMS community. Some love it. Some feel more compelled to 'complete' it despite it 'not being fun'. Others have been more badly butthurt. When you take a moment a think about it, it's hard to expect a team as small as HG to deliver so much. But that doesn't excuse the scale and arrogance of mistruths that have been spread as recently as two months ago. I will continue playing sparingly in the hopes that future software updates will address some of these features, so if you like, add me on Steam and we, erm, won't play together.
  18. Only problem is compatibility with Windows 10 otherwise I'd be there with you. Some sort of VR (Oculus/Vive) mod/hack would be pretty awesome for TDU1 too but that's probably difficult if no-one on the team has one to test with.
  19. Hi 777 These contests usually have an entry theme. This one is 'Italian Cars/Bikes'. Not sure you can spin that to work with a Shelby Mustang. :)
  20. Those things were frustrating (but expected playing with Europe) but it added to the challenge which was fun. Driving behind someone for 7 seconds to bust them is the total opposite. I don't recall having the same issues on those other occasions where I took photos but not recordings.
  21. Even with lag and completely different weight and handling systems I still reckon that was more fun than what I can see this expansion pack producing. But, we did ask for expansion packs back in the day and they are delivering on that. Other TDU police chase endings Memo, if you ever need a getaway driver do no ask Destroyer-GT :) Calling All Units in my mind only needed to add the police sirens and liveries and a more fair mechanism for determining when someone was caught. i.e. you've got to crash into them and stop them.
  22. I dunno, smells awfully like a pun. You've got the extra 'e' and everything :susp:
