  1. I'm guessing Diablo created this thread because he couldn't think of any new forum name replacements :cheeky:
  2. This game was set in the future Although it looks more like the past than anything else
  3. You can hide the arms like this: Just do it to a long sleeve jumper or something instead. Skip to 6 minutes in this video to see the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQnMK-PIbjc
  4. For all we know the Beta doesn't have an Options - Controls screen in it yet, so the controls can't be changed - I hope they do plenty of testing with FF wheels like the G25 before finalizing the physics.
  5. We can't, but Eden can link the in-game account to their email address, which is probably the same email address they've used on the TDU2.com forums :)
  6. The 1.68 community patch (made by forum members, not Eden) messes with the traffic files - you could try uninstalling that patch and sticking with 1.66a or reinstall the game completely.
  7. True, but if no-one tells Eden that things are CURRENTLY bad in the BETA, nothing might be changed ;)
  8. Some nice shots with the HD mod: Some other shots from recent weeks: Look at that massive RUF! Don't have to worry about it catching fire now. Stuck: Stuck:
  9. A Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is a legally binding document which protects the confidentiality of ideas, designs, plans, concepts or other commercial material. Most often, NDA's are signed by vendors, contractors, consultants and other non-employees who may come into contact with such material. http://www.google.com.au/url?ei=UpCMTNbGI5CEvgPHvJncBw&sig2=TMak7mVYZJmW1IZ3QSU-7Q&q=http://www.seattle.gov/informationsecurity/glossary_N.htm&sa=X&ved=0CB8QpAMoDg&usg=AFQjCNFxr97TTUWs-hb6OvpqdkQZuCzO4Q
  10. Sure, that's easy. Click Start, Run, and type appwiz.cpl Now click on McAffee and click Remove (You can always reinstall it later if you want). It sounds like a bit of a joke, but 'Internet Security Suites' go quite deep into your computer, and even when you tell them to stop, sometimes they still block stuff. I've used ZoneAlarm and Comodo Ineternet Security software before (Comodo is free & very good too btw) and both of them have buttons to disable them completely. From memory, Norton and McAffee aren't so easy to temporarily disable.
  11. Not if his dad believed the computer shop salesman and got a 3 year subscription. My recommendation for best free AV is Microsoft Security Essentials (check the reviews and it does very well).
  12. Just make sure you're antivirus software is up to date - you know what some of those sites (or banners on those sites) can be like. Don't know why I'm helping you there, but anyway :)
  13. There's only one difficult race for me - Fatal Attraction. I think just having it in your head that you're about to start a hard track gives you the disadvantage. If using a steering wheel, every other race is easily won.
  14. Shame on me, that guy is awesome. I wonder if Morpheus has made contact with him yet?
  15. Guys, no Beta videos or pics on here please until we here otherwise from higher up.
  16. Nice setup. How long did it take you to clean up and arrange everything before taking the pic? :p
  17. We could always install the Alpine and HD mods, grab some mod cars and make a trailer for it in TDU1
  18. It was either that or use the ingame graphics from 1995 - easy choice there :D
  19. Yeah, but I won't be in a S6, thanks Dan ;)
  20. And they had awesome intro videos Remember - this game was out in 1995 - such an epic game for its time - I still enjoy playing it. It was also the first game I ever played online via a 56k dialup modem. I even remember seeing this intro on TV: And Andreaz - if you've got a PC running 32bit Windows, you're in luck: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=15686
  21. So basically Who, you're saying the TDU2 trailers should be more like the TDU1 trailers? :p The TDU2 trailers seem to be focussing on what has changed since TDU1, which is all good for us, but doesn't necessaryily promote TDU2 as a better game than all the others coming out in the next 12 months. Then again, what do we care - we just want to play it - if it wins a few awards then that's just a bonus for them (which is deserved). The FUEL trailer had a high speed shot showing the largeness of the map - TDU2 could do something similar in a trailer.
  22. Maybe one of us should let Eden know what the definition of various time periods is so that there is less confusion in the future :p Imminent - Within 12 hours Very Soon - Within 36 hours Soon - Within 5 days Not far away - Within 2 weeks Not ready yet - Within 3 weeks If it's going to take more than 3 weeks, don't say anything, or give us a proper time estimation rather than using ambiguous words :)
  23. I'd play NFS3 right now if the installer worked on 64-bit Windows or if I could be bothered setting up a workaround with a hack. I guess I'll just have to put up with using the NFS3 tracks on NFS4 :(
