1. Here's one of those songs that you somehow know, but never knew what it was called or who wrote it. Listen to it a bit (especially after 0:40). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jcxkF-F5mA Every bit seems somehow familiar. :) -Leadfoot
2. ^No expletive-ing way. :omg: I mean, I can tell what you did, but wow. -Leadfoot
3. Yeesh! -Leadfoot
4. I thought this thread would be Rhys Millen's driveway, but HOT DAMN that was cool! -Leadfoot
5. Must have taken forever to get them off the PS3 and onto the computer, but wow. That's just incredible! :) -Leadfoot
6. Wow, everyone's getting vehicles, aren't they? :hmmm: I need to get a job... -Leadfoot
7. Everything visible in this shot is incredible. Nice work! EDIT: Just noticed the image of the three cars on the hood. WHAT. -Leadfoot
8. Welcome to TDUC! :hi: Nice car you've got. While GM North America was focusing on new ways to attach fake chrome, GM Australia was focusing on the good stuff. :) -Leadfoot
9. @blinding_tears: Hood pins, bolted wheel flares, and fender-mounted rear-view mirrors. Awesome. -Leadfoot
10. I feel your pain. The annual car show was in my town, and I got all excited, only to come online here and see a TechArt 911, an SLR SM, and an Aston One-77 on the same page. Just you wait until the guys from London start posting all the Arab LP670s and Mansorys (or whatever other one-offs they find). For them, an SLR Stirling Moss is probably close to mainstream. :p -Leadfoot
11. I know a guy in the same situation - looking for Si, but ended up getting the EX. Sorry about that. :( Not a bad car, though (my parents have an '02 that I mostly drive, and I think it's pretty nice). Hope to see more tasteful mods like the ones you've already done. :) -Leadfoot
12. It seems the justification for higher education is not a car, but the acquisition of sarcasm... :hmmm: -Leadfoot
13. I had planned on selecting some from the thread (this one, for example, and this), but there were too many great ones to choose from. They certainly make great use of GT5's moving-shot settings. :) -Leadfoot
14. Yeah, but it doesn't matter - they all get millions anyway, and all the drunk fans still cheer for the crashes. Yes, a stock car is challenging to drive, but there is so little variation for the viewer that it does seem boring. -Leadfoot
15. Teaser from the car show I went to. It wasn't nearly as big as it normally is, due to the rain, but my town was filled with classic cars (and modern new ones like a 2011 GT500 Convertible and a RUF RGT Cabrio). -Leadfoot
16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwDa5dMmfZ4 Haha, love that song. I remember my dad picked me up after school one day a while back and had paused this on Sirius radio waiting to show me what "real music" is. :) Great stuff - probably one of my top five favorite solos. -Leadfoot
17. Say what? *Buys more aftermarket parts for Honda Civic* :cheeky: Yeah, I agree, though. The effort that went into TDU2's marketing is just mind-boggling; sure, it brings in money, but all it did was bring people who hadn't played an Atari-published game into the scene only for them to realize that it was horrible and they wanted out. Congrats, Atari. You not only alienated your own community, but your potential community, too. -Leadfoot
18. I wouldn't expect anything at the moment. With the reduced staff, I imagine Eden is either rearranging tasks or being told to drop TDU2 (in other words, Atari could be threatening them). If we get an official announcement of some DLC pack, we'll know that most of them will show up eventually. If we get some kind of "postponed release" message, I think we can safely give up all hope. -Leadfoot
19. CAR SHOW IN LEADFOOT'S TOWN! :D Sure, it's the antique one, but that doesn't stop everyone with nice modern vehicles from coming out of the woodwork. BMW M3 (E36) BMW 323i Baur Convertible Alpina (Baurs are unbelievably rare, and I wasn't even aware that Alpina breathed on any of them. Plus, it's a convertible with a part-way folding roof, so that's cool in itself.) Ford Mustang GT California Special Pontiac Bonneville (The classic one) And my favorite local car... RUF RGT Cabrio. The thing's really cool - it even has a trailer hitch, used to attach a hitch-mounted bike rack. Oh, and my dad used to bike ride with the owner. :) -Leadfoot

22. We have Vimeo embedding? Oh, yes! :hdance: Really cool video, there, t; I especially like it having been lurking at Stanceworks for the past two months. :p ^Filmed with an R/C helicopter carrying a Canon 550D. An MX-5, Escort Cossie, and E36 Touring drifting in Greece. -Leadfoot
23. Ah, you people, with your petty squabbles. :p I don't drink soda! :D -Leadfoot
24. The section for videos filmed in TDU is over here: http://forum.tdu-central.com/forums/44-Videos :) Maybe one of the mods can move this thread? -Leadfoot
