  1. I've seen and heard about people driving Elises up to ski mountains on multiple occasions, as well as 911s and Bentleys and stuff. Oh, and Civics with summer tires. Can't wait to see how well Elising in the snow actually works. @tdu66: Awesome shot! -Leadfoot
  2. As long as it's an STI, I'll  over it. -Leadfoot
  3. Where's Scoob? I'd expect him to be here by now... Anyway, glad to see my favorite car (I'm weird, I know...) in TDU2! Since there's no chance they'll include the 2004-2005 STi (I'm not complaining, of course, just pointing out my true favorite :) ), I'm hoping for the wagon version of the new STI. :) EDIT: Lol, didn't even click the link. :p Guess that answers my question now. -Leadfoot
  4. Was she hot? :p j/k I know a lot of people like that around where I live. Everyone drives Bimmers or Audi Q7s (or Volvos), and I often see people I know (and wouldn't trust with a go-kart) driving them around. Oh, and one of my friends got a ride in the first new-series B7 in the US (a press car), said it was cool. Oh, and didn't tell me about it until later. And I just realized you live in NYC. Cool! :) -Leadfoot
  5. Yes. I'm guessing roads would be even more awful. ;) -Leadfoot
  6. From the company that brought us the five-delay, seven-month chain of last minute "corrections," I'd say... no. :p -Leadfoot
  7. Holy Batman, Batman! :p -Leadfoot
  8. Oh, the memories that one brings... My local radio station (the only one that comes in clearly at my house) played that at least a dozen times a day (that's probably NOT an exaggeration) a few years back. It became one of those songs that you get really sick of and then realize a few years later that it's actually decent. -Leadfoot
  9. Some very good entries this week! Wow! :) -Leadfoot
  10. You let your expectations get high enough for them to let you down? :p I, at this time, have not tested the demo, but will the next time the PS3's on. -Leadfoot
  11. Well, you would. :p Strangely, you don't see too many Rams up here in the northeast. There's a few, yeah, but there are way more Chevy trucks, Ford trucks, and - above all - Subaru's. About 75% of the families in my state own one (or more). High schoolers personalities are determined by whether they drive an Outback or an Impreza (or an F-150, but there are few of those). The Subaru dealers are extremely successful and often have many WRXs and an STI or two. My family had a Legacy, then an Outback, and now a Legacy. :) But like you said, the difference in regions are strange. Very rarely do I see Subbie's when I visit New Jersey (and car magazines from California speak of them as if they're not even sold there :p ). EDIT: THAT UNDERGROUND RACING GALLARDO IS STREETKING'S FROM M5BOARD! His thread is here, and here's a pic. It's from Texas, too, so it makes sense. Remember the license plate? If so, there's a pic of it on the thread. -Leadfoot
  12. Great work. :) I really like that indicator detail shot. -Leadfoot
  13. Some kid at my school has a Colorado with either a Borla or Flowmaster kit. I'm not a truck guy, but I can't help but take notice of it. It just sounds so... I'm sure a Silverado is even better. Currently using '02 Civic when my parents aren't. It's got a manual, thankfully. And VTEC. :p -Leadfoot
  14. Keep an eye out for places EA advises. They'll usually offer special deals. :) -Leadfoot
  15. Mine does. I'm not sure the temps (I'd rather not go sticking sensors into the thing), but you can feel it and, occasionally, smell it. The most worrying experience for me so far was the time my old monitor melted the power cable into the monitor, fusing the two together. Quite strong odors that day. But it was replaced by dual 22" Acers. :) -Leadfoot
  16. Is this serious? Everyone's wrong! Lamborghini Gallardo. Totally. :p -Leadfoot
  17. They all look just like TDU2! My personal favorite is this, but they're all awesome. -Leadfoot
  18. Amazing spot. So nice to see a Stirling Moss driven. -Leadfoot
  19. I win. In all honesty, though, I prefer European cars and dislike certain aspects of America (mainly, the way too many people are dumb and obese). But debates are fun, so bring it on. :) -Leadfoot
  20. Because a stock Z06 beat a stock (base) Murcielago 3 out of 4 times. And some journalistic establishments would, in fact, argue that the ZR1 is one of the greatest cars in the world. Also, the twin-turbos and superchargers are one of the unique aspects of Corvettes - you can, if you choose, give it 850 horsepower. -Leadfoot
  21. The passenger in that M6 must think that's weird, too... :p -Leadfoot
  22. Yeesh, I know how hot those things get. Definitely contact Logitech, though. If they don't send a replacement wheel, try to get reimbursed and take a look at Fanatec. -Leadfoot
  23. I feel bad that there are no comments, I just can't keep up with the pics! Some very nice spots there! And what were you doing on a yacht? -Leadfoot
  24. lol I remember that pic from a US car magazine somewhere (R&T, Motor Trend, Car&Driver), with the first real test of the "new" M5. Classic pic. :) -Leadfoot
  25. Happy birthday! Have a good one! :D -Leadfoot
