Brilliant-looking mod. Do not want over an Alfa GT though. Or do I? I'm always driving V6-engined FWD saloons in Gran Turismo... -
released Ferrari F40 Variations (3 Versions)
Captain_ClutchKick replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Love the mods to the F40, good work :). An F40 LM would be a cool idea (I only mention it here because it's closely related to the car in this release, so please don't flay me alive for not putting it in the requests section): The F50 could be made by improving a low-poly version off NFS Hot Pursuit 2. Alternatively, ask Martin Leps if you can adapt and improve his ;) (...then make an F50 GT ) -
It really isn't an issue these days, apparently. http://forum.tdu-central.com/showthread.php?t=3739 Don't thank me, thank Djey... :)

Tip: good rims exchange for the Ferrari 575
Captain_ClutchKick replied to MAXLD's topic in Car Customization Mods
Really? I love the standard 575 rims, they're awesome, love the chunkiness. And what mod (if any) makes the front wheels cambered like that? Never noticed it before, although it has been months since I played it- 27 replies

released Grin116: NissaN 200 SX [vs 1, 2] Stock & Drift
Captain_ClutchKick replied to Grin116's topic in Vehicle Mods
Thanks, I'm using these, but I'm replacing the Saturn Sky/Curve. Good job mate! E: Actually I'm not. It glitches when it replaces the Curve, rims look a bit big and the car is too low, the tops of the wheels are constantly above the wheelarches, plus the taillights appear half way accross the boot lid. Pretty flawless model, save the seatbelts on the chairs not having a rollbar to attatch to. Replacing the Curve would be perfect, any chance of making a release for the Saturn Curve, Grin? :) -
WANT :bananajump: And now, CAN HAS, since I fixed my PC :bananadance:

'Lo everyone, not been on here for ages, my gaming computer died and I have only the PS2 and whatever will work on my EEE, so sadly no TDU at all for me for over a month now. Still, I barely have the time anyway what with all the time I spend at work and all the studying I have to do at college: at work both days of the weekend and resitting 8 exams in addition to whatever else I'm doing for A2, so fixing my PC is out of the equation. Fun times...:(

Really nice body kit, EA could have done with some of those when they made NFS ProStreet...
-
Excellent idea, I will be able to make that cruise since I won't be at work. I'll drive a TVR Tuscan

TDU: PC Car Sound Upgrades! Pack 2 now ready!!
Captain_ClutchKick replied to Mb's topic in Car Customization Mods
That's the hardest part, apart from getting them to loop properly and sound smooth between different rev sounds. -
Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently!

A red F355 Spider, TVR Tamora (on my estate!), CLK500 (non AMG for some reason), and a very tasteless man with not one, but two hideous bling-rimmed Dodge Nitros... -

Somehow, as long as the game can be modded, Russian cars that nobody cares about always end up in it :p http://tdu.net.ru/forum/2-2299-5#172785 Audi R8, should be good when finished although I'd have it replacing a Spyker -
English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish or BRITISH?

Gotcha. I suppose it's porage = Scottish and porridge = the rest of the world? :) -

Captain_ClutchKick replied to Mb's topic in Car Customization Mods
On the DVD you say? That would mean making an image of it, modifying the file and then running it from hard drive or a burnt DVD... I'm sure it's possible, I'm going to try and put the massive Caddy Sixteen rims on the CTS-V... -
TDU: PC Car Sound Upgrades! Pack 2 now ready!!
Captain_ClutchKick replied to Mb's topic in Car Customization Mods
It's all of them. And I have already tried to edit the .xmb file with Notepad. I tried giving the Alfa Brera sound for my Skyline GTR a turbo spool sound by copying and pasting, it added a few bytes to the file size so when I went to the garage the game crashed. There has to be a central database where all the file sizes are stored. If that is installed with your CD, great, find it and modify it, but my guess is that it is stored on the TDU servers to prevent cheating -
+ Found some RAM that looks right for my PC! --- But it doesn't work because it is non-ECC... - Am I the only one here who has next to no interest in the Olympics?

I will say this about Scotland though: Irn Bru + cheap whiskey = PENG* *Midlands word for rather nice ;) -
Yep, Branson should take them for free for being so ridiculous.
-
Yep, I made CD images, that's how I get games onto my EEE :)

BNK file size Nazis. It helps if your sound is the same size or less than the original. I know BNK file editor changes the file size, but it sometimes gives a fair amount of distortion. -
