Hi, it happens when assigning map controls to analog joystick. Without proper calibration, center position is not 100% steady thus preventing game to focus on map item.

Now again, things have changed. Exciting things have been discovered lately and are always in progress. So I thought it could be cool a new patch exists to set up a clean TDU - setting a new base for the future. Remember, Community Patch is the first thing to install after good old 1.66 Megapack :nuts:, isn't it ?
So 2.00A is the first revision of this new patch. It aims at fixing and completing some aspects of 1.68b, while bringing new modding standards. Patch distribution will provide both:
support and documentation: WIKI a way to upgrade freshly installed game to 2.00A -> all files will be included (FULL) a way to upgrade already modified game (to keep some of existing modifications or previous patch) (UPDATE) For advanced users, modders or developers, I've just open-sourced project on Github platform: djey47/tdu-cp · GitHub
That will provide wiki, project status, bug tracking, ability to express feature requests etc. 🆒

For sure one of the the biggest modding project for a driving game. Thanks for this Milli.
At the beggining of car modding in 2008, I could not imagine the game would bear and receive such improvements. That's a tribute to this fantastic game, for its 11th birthday.
The effort in reverse enginneering the game had a price, now time is for a reward for everyone involved and enthusiasts. Such an epic adventure!

Nope, not to my knowledge at least. Tduf does only modify database files and a few bin files.
Only project paradise uses a dll injection, allowing to override variables in memory.
That's why projects such as tdu platinum are so huge and take time, author has to make changes on each car and test results in game...

To test these binocular values, use tduf tool and change camera settings for "car physics data" topic.

Here is current state of cameras bin structure, see attachment.
Interesting part below:
{ "name": "binoculars", "type": "INTEGER", "size": 2 }, Currently, binoculars information is read after 2 bytes data. It seems that only 1 byte is sufficient. That would explain why setting is cyclic.
To validate this assumption, may someone test these values?
- 16640 => should be maximum FOV (min zoom)
- 16768 => should be medium FOV
- 16895 => should be narrowest FOV (max zoom).

That's unfortunately not possible with our current game knowledge, and I'm even afraid it's impossible at all. The only frequency which can be set for now is per Island area (e.g huge traffic in urban areas, less in the lands...)

Just restore database from a clean TDU install or Platinum if youre using it. And .. dont you have any database backup already ?

TDUF currently shows and enables writing every piece of .db file, including language resources (whereas TDUPE and TDUMT can't).
See it as 'user friendly' version of tduut 😄

something might prevent you from connecting to community server (hosted in France by OVH provider). Check any antivirus/firewall/endpoint protection you may have in active state.

Game install directory is not set up properly. Do not use Magic Map as it would invalidate some added files in the worst case.
You can check/fix install directory in the file located at c:/user/xxxx/.tduf/tduf.properties

According to logs the issue appears after unpacking database, e.g if you check file at location: C:\Users\LANETB~1\AppData\Local\Temp\libUnlimited-databaseBank5836824573108046309
It should exist with other files related to database.
So something in your game edition makes the tool unable to read the unpacked files. Don't you have a TDU gold by any chance?

That's an unknown issue, never happened before I guess. If there were errors, the DatabaseEditor logs would contain them...
To see more logs, that may help: https://github.com/djey47/tduf/wiki/Settings#debugging
Something makes your database uncompatible with TDUF and it's hard to tell without any information.
Otherwise with using TDUF in command line mode and try extracting database manually: https://github.com/djey47/tduf/wiki/Banks-CLI
TDUF FULL package is required to run as command line (from cmd.exe).

That is not related to windows 10 for sure, and my database is the exact copy of the one provided by TDU platinum. So you can get it from the latest update.
Best thing is definitely to enable debug logs in TDUF to know what's going on.
Ps: d3d9.dll file is not meant to be in this folder

Sorry I've no clue. My last guess was you're using TDU Gold which is different from original dvd and was likely to cause issues.
You may otherwise try with the command line tools to unpack database manually.

yop guys,
as tools are almost ready, time to get back to this.
To speed up, I will concentrate on making a full patch to override freshly installed game. An update version would come up later eventually.
I think it's good that beta versions to be released frequently to get community's feedback and keep you informed ;)

There's no such a setting in TDU. Your best luck is to trick with vehicle 3d models in zmodeler2. Maybe when rotating wheel dummys you could achieve camber. But even with this, that would be only visual modification with no effet on physics at all. Plus potential visual glitches.
Personally, I would not touch this, modified cambers are hideous. But if some do like it...

I really doubt about it.
A solution using notepad to modify files.... As tool said, that only affects on-screen details, not car physics.
If someone wants to edit them, he will need to unlock encryption of files into DB.BNK first (I've already told that).

I think you could not register your actual savegame to the server. I remember entering wrong password or savegame type or such would make it fail.
At least you should try with new online account to confirm you don't have networking issue.
As noone here administers the server you may have to start progress from the beginning.
