  1. Following Dodge’s lead to take on the British, Chevrolet has announced that it will begin UK sales of its Camaro muscle car in early 2011. Appropriately, Chevrolet made the announcement earlier today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. On sale in the United States since spring 2009, the Camaro will arrive in UK Chevy dealers sometime during the first half of 2011. The Camaro has proven to be a smash success for Chevrolet thus far, with over 200,000 units sold. Although several variants of the Camaro are available in the U.S. – including a base model with a 304 (soon-to-be-312) horsepower V6 engine – UK buyers will only have access to the range-topping SS trim. No other details were given, but Chevy did say the Camaro would feature 426 horsepower, indicating only a six-speed manual will be offered. The SS model equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission only produces 400 horsepower. No pricing information was given, but expect a hefty premium over the Camaro SS’ U.S. starting MSRP of about $32,000. I wonder how well it do over here.

  6. It was a limited edition "Nurburgring" LF-A. Its most likely a human error than anything else, he's over 65 which is the retiring age for most jobs along with the fact that Japan is a RHD country and Germany is LHD, and I doubt Toyota will put the same pedals they use in their mainstream cars in the LFA, and they have already been fixed.
  7. Don't put stars, it will look weird during daytime, replacing the Sun with the Moon or vice versa is alright, they're about the same anyway.(Game wise)
  8. Can anyone upload the files for these two? Oahu Cars Unlimited is dead and I want these cars badly :( I only have the ones for the 1.67 patch.(I'm running 1.68)
  9. Its a cool idea but I wouldn't do it since I wouldn't like to drive a replica or buy anything fake. So I would just keep the DB9 or trade it in for a DBS or another car.
  10. Didn't James May have one of these before in the US Roadtrip? iirc Clarkson and Hammond nicknamed his Cadillac as the "Titanic". :cheeky:
  11. Keep in mind that the Viper is the reason GM took the Corvette's performance to a whole new level, before the Viper it was comparable to a Nissan 300ZX or a Mustang, but when the Viper came out it made a bang and GM improved their Corvette, the modern day ZR1 was also caused by the Viper when it got an update in 2008 with 600HP. If the Viper wasn't made the Corvette would most likely be very different than the Corvette we have today. And the Viper is only going out of production for around 2-3 years, it will be replaced by a brand new Viper with a Ferrari-derived V10 and possibly but highly unlikely a Maserati GranTurismo based Chassis.
  12. I prefer the convertible over the hardtop but overall its a great mod, especially for a first mod. +Rep
  13. There's a lot to like about the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. After all, we're talking about a sleek, 563-horsepower super-Benz with functional gullwing doors and a soundtrack to melt your heart. It's the embodiment of German engineering... or is it? Inside Line cites unnamed sources who say that the SLS AMG actually began life as the next-generation Dodge Viper. The story apparently goes like this. Dodge engineers were already hard at work on the next-gen Viper, with an aluminum chassis already completed and a new suspension on the way. Mercedes caught wind of the project and decided that the chassis would be the perfect starting point for the upcoming SLS. The two teams reportedly worked side-by-side on the project until Chrysler's cash crunch caused the Dodge team to focus its resources elsewhere. The end result was a brand-new SLS for Mercedes and a hole in Dodge's Viper lineup. IL bolsters its account of the Viper-turned-SLS with the fact that early SLS test mules caught by spy photogs were fitted with ill-assembled Viper sheetmetal. While it's hard to blame Mercedes for utilizing existing engineering work (it did, after all own Chrysler at the time) to bring the SLS to market faster and cheaper, we're thinking it would have been nice to have a new aluminum chassis Viper on the streets. Here's hoping that the 2012 Viper makes us forget about our loss. _______________________________________________________________ Source: Autoblog. _______________________________________________________________ To be honest I wasn't very surprised that the two were related, after all they were using Viper body parts during testing, I still like the SLS and Viper but seeing a new Viper would have been great.
  14. The Facel Vega doesn't work online.
  15. Its alright but tbh I prefer the normal Javelin over this version.
  16. Physics editing for Tuning Packs and the ability to change Rim models(Not Sizes) would both be nice features for TDUPE V3.
  17. Its not THAT bad of a crash, it is definitely in better condition that Cristiano Ronaldo's Ferrari 599 that was wrecked a year or two ago. Its such a shame seeing different kinds of sports and supercars being ruined this way, those rich kids don't deserve them.
  18. Here is my take-on for this for almost all of the cars I know and don't know. http://www.wikipedia.org /Thread.
