The 49 year old Pascal Terry got lost on the second day of the rally.

They never heard anything from him since then, today he's been found dead in the desert.

He put of his helmet and sat there with food and water next to him.

I was watching the highlights every night on Eurosport and some good Dakar action and it seems very likely that the organisers will go back to Argentina/Chile next year so all is good.

 

I remember watching highlights of previous Dakars but this years Dakar seems to have been the best and you gotta love those VW Toureg's :thumbsup:.

 

Shame for Carlos Sainz though definently unlucky with that 'road map problem' cost him any chance of finishing.

Do they not put GPS trackers in the cars and when they get lost get choppers to help them?

Was a real shame for Sainz, especially as a some freak in a Hummer took over the lead.
