Logitech G25 Problem

Hey guys, my G25 had been gathering dust as I had a problem with manufacturer limiting hard drive space I could use.

I've recently turned it on to play rFactor, and it turns on, flashes twice and then turns off. Vista doesn't recognize it, even if I install the software before, I've reinstalled, changed plugs, changed USB hubs.

I've just retried it now and it now flashes, but still doesn't get recognized, even with the software installed.

Have I got a dead G25?

Sounds like you need to uninstall all of the drivers, do a restart, install them again and then once that's done do another restart and you should be good to go ;)

  • 2 weeks later...

I tried what ScaR told me but no avail, it does the same thing. I'll have to contact Logitech.

The only problem I brought it off Ebay, it was brand new and in original packaging, would I still need the serial number and stuff and what numbers would I need (as in serial numbers, PUK numbers etc.)

Thanks.

First off, make sure that all the connections are good and tight at the wheel module. I have had a few issues with the G25 (like dropping out of 5th and 6th gear) before that just turned out to be loose connections. Also, if you do wind up going to Logitech for warranty work, all the info that will be required is on the bottom of the wheel module, near the connectors.
