Car glitch or bug in modded cars

I have noticed, when you go about 50 metres from a car that is modded it becomes black and the exterior car is gone. All that is left is the wheels and shadows. However when you got close to the car, the car is normally visible. Why is this? Can it be fixed?

All moded cars have this glitch. Except the normal original in-game cars.

It depends, some cars like the Porsche Carrera GT don't have a far-away view model, so only 4 wheels and shadow shows, cars like the BMW M3 E46 shows as a Nissan Skyline, and some don't have this bug.

This is down to the low poly model as far as I know, if it has a custom model it will appear as normal, if not you'll have the shadow and wheels :)

Yep Speed. ;) Most new mods usually come with a low poly model for viewing far away though.
