You do no that Audi own Lamborghini so there for it is that same v10 but a little tweaked.

 

I know that, yes. But I was only saying what Clarkson said on Top Gear two years ago when he reviewed the standard R8. He said that it would have an Audi's own V10 engine instead of a Lamborghini one.

Clarkson isn't God. He doesn't know everything there is to know about cars. Top Gear is mainly an entertainment show, not a fact show.

 

And a 2 year old rumor from a fat guy is surely more reliable than Audi's facts...

Actually, the R8 V10 does use a Lamborghini LP560 Engine, a detuned one. from 552 to 525.
