Are clubs unlocked from the the start of the game?

if u mean clubs you join with other members yes you just have to create one or join one that other members are in. To see the clubs or be part of one you need to be playing online

It's an armchair icon on the map, you have to be an Xbox Live Gold member in order to use the clubs. If you aren't a Gold Member you won't see the clubs or have access to them.

Clubs are multiplayer only. You can't access them from the offline mode.

Like Legend said, they are only avlaible online. There is really no reason for them unless you play LIVE. :thumbsup:
