Sky Player launched...... kinda!

Well it was launched, but at the moment it's not available due to errors at the sky end. Apparently launching later today :)

 

But should be interesting and as I was reading through the Xbox forums I noticed this, don't know whether it will work though as I already qualify for the full service.

next to the bottom it will ask you if you have sky tv already just click yes then yes again and then No it will then tell you about the code

I signed in alright. I can watch the on demand stuff, but not live despite paying £60 a month already. Yay for Sky.

The whole friggin service is pointless imo.

 

I pay for sky already, I pay £12 a month for the ESPN package, I pay £40 a year for an gold membership and yet they still want me to pay £10 a month to watch what 15 channels live and better still they want you to pay 99p to rent a program .... madness!!!

Just more useless crap to clog up the xbox.. Useless updates, wish MS made a patch which reverted the console to day 1. Where it wasn't inflated garbage.

Exactly. I have my PC and laptop for Skyplayer and a Sky box for live TV. Same for Facebook and Last.FM. They are good ideas but I don't think they should be targeted at a gaming console.
