skinning cars

could someone point me in the direction to a tutorial on how to paint the cars using photoshop or corel.

i used to play a game called 18 wheels of steel haulin, it was a truck driving game and you could paint the trucks and trailers and stuff by using dxtbmp then your choosen software (i use corel photopaint)

i really enjoyed the skinning side and would love to be able to do it for tdu and if i can learn it i will take requests and release paint jobs fopr cars

Hmm some people used to do it a while ago but I don't think it was easy or worked on every vehicle. I could be wrong though.
