I need help on Fm3 about the HUD. When i start a game the fuel meter and the damage meter does not work can someone help me please?:confused:

You won't notice the fuel going down if you are in a short race. It only matters in the endurance races. And even then, you don't always have to pit for fuel.

 

For the damage, you have to push left on the D-pad twice iirc. If you are in career mode, you need to change the difficulty to turn damage on and if you are online or in free race, you need to go into the race settings and enable it.

 

It would have also been a good idea to post this in the Forza 3 subforum and not in general gaming. But don't make another thread.

When I play free play the damage meter option is on and it does not work.

Am I going to the wrong menu it is in the HUD menu?

This did not work for me. you are supposed to press the D pad once in the right direction. but this did not work for me and it never does and the meter is enabled in the HUD menu why does it not work??:mad:

In free play, damage and fuel are turned off by default. To have damage and fuel, you need to be online in a private or public match or you need to be in a career mode race with damage and fuel enabled in the difficulty menu.

Hey another question when I rewind in the middle of a race it rewinds however it wants. I can't control it like when I want to start again at a certain time I press all the buttons hopelessly on my controller one by one and it rewinds like 2 laps back do you know how to control the rewind? :cry: :bananamad:

As Jeff said, you can't control it. You'll also notice in endurance races that you can no longer rewind after a (fatal) crash. Just give it about 3 minutes, then hit the rewind button again. All will be well after that
