Audi R8

i have seen many version if the R8 being made.

we have the V8 and the V8 Roadster

the V10 and the V10 Roadster

and even the LMS and the LE Mans concept

 

but i have been waiting for this very one that no one seems to be making

 

so i am going to request it so it may be made by a modder

 

well here we go

i truly have no clue about that but it seems that people kinda forgot about it,

I believe Audi are not going for this as the V12 TDi in the R8 was mealy for publicity i think the only V12 diesel will be in the Le-Mans Cars

Ah I remember reading an article in Car magazine where they drove an R8 V12 TDi concept of some sort around some part of America. I remember them saying then that Audi likely wouldn't take the project any further.

The V12 TDI has been officially canceled by Audi, I can't remember where I read it though, but it was an official statement by them.

 

Too bad, it's the best looking R8 there is except for that NACA duct in the glass roof.

 

Maybe if they had pursued a regular V12 engine instead of diesel there might have been more interest.
