Just bought Just Cause 2 as well, despite having already played it... through other means of acquisition but that 'version' went with my last format. Persuaded myself not to get Call of Pripyat after memories of Clear Sky.

 

God I hope they don't have a game I want in the final Daily Deal tomorrow. I won't have the time to play the ones I've bought already.

Call of Pripyat is a lot better than Clear Sky and Shadow of Chernobyl. You should've got it. :p

I've heard many times that it is, but being the Chernobyl/Pripyat anorak I am I wanted more of the game to be based in Pripyat, especially considering it's title but I could find hardly any videos of the city itself in the game on YouTube unless they've all been removed. No doubt someone will find loads of videos to rub it in now :p That was one of the main selling points for me because I wasn't a great fan of how Clear Sky played if I'm honest :(

 

I don't know what it is but with Clear Sky there was something that I never thought was quite 'right' with it which stopped me from enjoying it.

 

Ah well, there's always another time, it can only get cheaper to buy.

I've bought quite a few ones too: Borderlands, Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, Osmos, Red Faction: Guerilla, Saints Row 2 and Trine. :cheeky:

Saints Row 2 isn't really my cup of tea so far. Maybe it just needs setting up more to my liking or needs playing more but at the moment I'm glad I only paid £2.49 for it.

 

Here's hoping the final Daily Deals has something a bit special in it.

Ok, I caved in and bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

 

Technically I'd only spent 37p of my first weeks wages on Steam games until I bought it but never mind.
