Without testing it before commenting, he probably shifted the whole model to the side just like he did with the RHD Skyline 2000, which is really a bad thing because it screws up the other 3 cameras, you gotta remember StarGT, not everybody likes driving in Cockpit mode 100% of the time.

For those that always drive Cockpit mode, just remember one very important thing......

 

If you drive this car in Cockpit mode, and you think you're just going to "scrape by" a car ahead of you when you pass it, you're not going to scrape by, you're going to hit it if you try passing it on the left. The game doesn't acknowledge if the model is shifted sideways, TDU keeps the collision "hitbox" right where it always was, in the center.

If the car is set to "H-Gate/Stick" the character will try to move the lever on the steering column. Basically it looks like he's trying to manually shift a "3 on the tree" automatic.
