gran turismo 5 GT5: Top Gear Star In a Reasonably Priced Car

Hi.

 

I was thinking, since the Top Gear track is in GT5, how about we set up a TDUCk Star In a Reasonably Priced Car? We could have one every week, where people complete 1 lap of the track and post their times. At the end of the week, the winner could perhaps get to choose the car for the next week, with certain limitations perhaps. Or maybe, there could be a race at the end of each week with the top 5 contestents perhaps, and they have to battle it out on a 2 lap race online.

 

This is only the very basic outline of the idea, I have ideas for the first car and rules etc. if people agree with me.

 

By the way, I didn't copy GTP, I've been thinking about this for ages, just haven't got around to posting it. :p

Really good idea but the problem is the TG test track is bugged with the starting line. Timer starts about half a cars length back from the actual line so cant do standing starts so easy. Also gotta try and control this somehow.

I'm up for it. The way you can get around a rolling start is simply do a lap of the track & stop at the start line so that your 2nd lap is the timed one.

Good Idea, Although i do have one suggesting!

 

When setting your lap, do it online with at least one other person here as a witness! Also so that way we can set the thing to have a power limit/weight limit! So's to stop you useing a modded car for the lap, but posting a diffrent pic of your settings!

Same car in arcade mode, either change the rules slightly and start the lap from a rolling start or awkwardly have someone witness the other person's lap every time. Photo with Hovis bread for proof of the time. Done.
