Installed megapack, can't buy new cars

I've searched around google but did not see anything real solid, so I'll just see what the community thinks. Apparently this is a common error, but like it says, I installed the megapack, I can see the new cars in the dealership but cannot select them to buy. Any ideas?

Do you have the 1.66 patch installed? If you don't, try uninstalling the Megapack, install the 1.66 patch, and then re-install the Megapack.

 

by the way how did you download the megapack can you give me the link? please......

 

Buy it. Not that expensive now.

I have the community 1.68b patch. But I installed the patch after I installed the megapack...would that make a difference?

And would people please stop posting about piracy downloading cause this thread is going to be deleted and I won't have solved anything :(

Did you have the 1.68 patch installed before the Megapack? That's all I can think of as everything worked perfectly for me when I installed the Megapack.

No I installed the megapack and then the patch... maybe I should switch it.
