With certains rims, when i put them in 20",

tyres are in the ground...:(

What can i do ?

Modify height of tyres ?

That would be the max suspension height variable (NOT the ride height) in TDUMT or TDUPE, lower the number and the tires should come out of the ground.

You can modify :

Size of rims (up to 20")

height of tyre

It works fine,

after modify it, i change (with TDUPE) rims for the model.

300 C, XKR fits good.

But for width of tyre, i don't really remember.

No, i think no. :(

Mp me if problem... ;)

no,you can't change width

would be nice to fix some muslce cars with supermarket carts wheels

That was exactly my plan, high horsepower big block musclecars with 6 inch wide tires is just completely dumb.

At least one person has claimed that tire width IS possible to change, but only with the auto-installer that installs the car. Now since that just changes database values, there has to be a way to change the width, unless of course that person was a liar.

You can change it in zmodeler very easy, but its up to the modder to do it. But i am not 100% sure about changing it in the database, as i don't think TDU can stretch the tire mesh itself. But you can change the size of the rim.

Tho i do plan to do a muscle car, so if any body has any ideas PM me. As i don't realy know what one to do. ;)

TDU can most definitely stretch or squish the rim model ingame.

Find a car with very wide tires (MurcCpe), and another car with very skinny tires (AC289 or DB4), and try out the same rim model for both of them, the game will actively deform the mesh of the rim as it needs to, either wider or skinnier, or larger or smaller diameter.

The key now is to find the exact database entry that actively controls rim width.

What i am saying is that TDU only has 1 tire per size of rim, and that the size of the dummy in zmod controls the width of the tire. As when you import you can see the dummys are of different sizes. So it would not be in the database with the size of the rim. But i may be completely wrong lol. But that is what i always thought.

Well, find the modder who said that "all future releases will have the tire width controlled by the installer, so if you want proper tire width you'll have to use the it".

Said person does have a history of not being entirely truthful with his claims so the statement was taken with a grain of salt.

After using this method to resize rims and tires, are you still able to use TDUMT to open the cars with??? Every time I try I get a popup error.

And I'm having problems with lowering the tire "profile", it doesn't seem to work on most of these cars. The Toyota 2000 GT looks kinda stupid with 70mm profile tires.
