hello, looking at getting a new laptop. Yes, I am a IT student but havn't looked at the latest hardware. Im going to get it from argos (Well its going to be my mums) and it can be paid of in 6 months. Got up to £400 to spend and ive found a pretty decent spec laptop:

Not sure if to go for this or one with an i3 cpu? Would like dedicated graphics so I can pinch it for gaming at times :)

A low end Dell XPS 15.

 

Comes with a standard GT 430 card. :)

 

Or if you can really dig deep after a while, might I suggest ASUS G53JW-XA1. Comes with a GTX460M. Kinda like Alienware, but not stupid pricing.
