Getting very brassed off with this game now

Bought this game and loved it. Finished all the championships however on the way i have been robbed of over 2M in the casino. On one occassion i had 500K worth of chips (1M dollars) when it kicked me from a session and took the lot off me. This happened various other times totaling over another 1M dollars.

 

That was a pain in the backside as it took me ages to earn it all. Now i try and load my game up and ive got the bloody saved file corrupt.

 

I know that they are working on a patch to fix all of this but having to start my career all over again is something i dont know if i can be arsed doing.

 

Seriously thinking of trading it in now.

i did take a bacup of my save file and overwrite it when i have corrupted my save file it seems to work again for me then maybe u should try it to greets Steve

Yep.. Experienced both those problems. I've been avoiding roulette like the plague as it swallows all your cash when it errors out, and that's when, not if. Backing up really is the only way to keep a safe hold of your save file. I know you shouldn't have to and in three years of using the 360 this is the only game that has ever corrupted its save file on me.

Yep, until the 360 update comes, backing up is the wisest thing to do.

Ack - I'm so sorry to hear that!

 

Those are two of the biggest issues we're working to resolve. In fact, the patch is supposed to restore corrupt saves as well. Unfortunately, due to the many possible causes of file corruption, we can't guarantee that it will be able to restore every file, however, we found the primary cause of corruption and found that the patch was able to fix it pretty consistently.

 

About the money lost in the Casino, it's definitely a major frustration. The updates should prevent this from happening in the future as well. In the interim, players have found a few crafty ways to make money within the normal game mechanics (repeating the Speed event in Hawaii Cup 2 being one of them). There are definitely more, so feel free to ask around.

This game is a joke. started over my career picking up the odd $ here and there.

 

Managed to get into the final 2 in the level 4 poker tournament. Winner gets £2M and second place gets $1.2M. I had 3 Kings and was just about to play them and i get the caino server error message and it kicks me and i dont get a penny. So ive now been robbed again of at least 1.2M or more probably 2M.

 

When is this crap getting fixed. It was Atari who were part of Race Pro along with Sim Bin and that game got abandoned, i have a sneaky feeling they are gonna do the same to us all with TDU2 aswell.
