Heists finally detailed, release early 2015

So finally Rockstar has lifted the curtain/skirt/blinds on the long awaited Heists. They did this by releasing a trailer:

 

 

Also, make sure to head over to IGN to read why it took so incredibly long before V players would finally get their hands on this awaited expansion. Some bits:

 

 

"One of the challenges is that unlike a heist in Story Mode, every player needs to feel central to the action at all times, and that’s much more challenging than it appears."

"We never want to have to move a date but if something is delayed, it’s because it’s not at the level we expect of ourselves. And while we’re not there yet, we’re getting close and Heists will be ready early in 2015."

"Each finale is a big set-piece mission with players taking on multiple roles. All through this, players will be gaining access to new vehicles, new weapons, new items and new clothing, as well as visiting some surprising locations and interacting with some familiar characters from the story."

Haha "I know you've been complaining, but you weren't ready". Rockstar are just too clever and cocky at times that you have to respect it.

 

Lot of really good information to be gleamed from that interview too, he has a point about having to get everyone involved. Also looks like these Heists will finally make it worthwhile to own a boat/plane/etc. Early 2015 though, even more a wait but at least we sort of know when to expect it now.
