The world does need to find a balance between Free Speech and Hate Speech and at the moment those that prefer to preach hate are getting away with it. People continue to see the internet as a realm in which there are no consequences to any actions ever, people can be hurt and peoples lives can be changed by things said and done online, is this not a necessary step?

 

I'm also concerned it might go too far, but for the time being I think we have to understand the necessity for at least some progress on this matter.

It just needs a balancing act but I have a feeling it's just going to go way past the middle, neutral area and end up on the other side of the fence. Only time will tell though and there will always be ways around it.

Most sites require some sort of user agreement before you can post content, so it should be fairly straightforward to apply rules of the house
