Bad script on forum index

Every time I go to or refresh the forum index some script crashes and freezes up Firefox for a few seconds. This is the error message I get:

Strange, but I guess it must be because it's a busy period for retailers so calls to the script must be getting hammered.

 

And to be clear: all that script does is identify links that are part of an affiliate network we are with and attribute clicks on them to us.
