Why so few new car mods for TDU2?

So, as written in the title: why do we have so few new car mods recently?

Even mods TDU (1) get updated more often.

I guess it's possible for modders to convert he 3d models from TDU1 mods to TDU2.

Or am I wrong?

^ Sort of possible I guess, you just need permission if you're doing a straight conversion from 1 to 2.

I imagine modders are just relaxing and taking a break, there's still plenty floating about :)

Probably because TDU2 isnt as good as TDU 1, therefore there's not that many active modders on TDU2 scene

It is, it was brought back online with the Project Paradise mod. Your best bet is finding it on eBay and similar sites or Amazon (although it's a bit pricey). I haven't played in a while but there was usually around 30 players anytime I was on. It's worth noting that it doesn't work with Windows 10 however.
