Shamelessly stealing this from Jalopnik, but I think 'tis a good way to wake y'all up and get you engaged. :evil:

 

The rules are simple. They don't exist. Just post pics of FIVE motor vehicles and write a sentence or two about each motor vehicle. It can be five Skylines in different colors or five black Model T's. No one cares.

- I love the looks tbh, though I know not everyone does.

2. Optional Chauffeured Car:

- I like a good drink, and would be too wealthy to bother with Uber

- I prefer this to the current Phantom/Ghost

3. Weekend Car: Aston Martin DBS with Manual Gearbox

- The sound

- The looks

- Drive from the UK down to the Riviera, who'd want anything else? :shrug:

I think i'd build a house around this, it'd be in an air conditioned glass box. It's stunning. Unsure if i'd go for the gold wheels or not.

   • it looks kinda weird and that is the reason

I mean, i'd be happy with your garage Tom if it were given to me but that BMW? Really? And I absolutely love the RS6 but it's too safe a choice in this fantasy world, in that i'd own it without giving too much thought into it haha

 

I've changed my Porsche 917 to the Eagle Speedster. I wanted a convertible car in my 5, but I wanted my DBS to be the Coupé.

Yes, it's indeed really hard to narrow down to 5 cars. 2 would be easier. :lol: But i've tried to cover lunacy, desire and also practicality.

 

So, here are my choices:

 

1. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6)

- It's my favorite car of all times and you guys knew it would be in my list. :lol:

- Fills the big V8 aspirated engine desire. 'MURICA!

 

2. Alfa Romeo Giulia QV

- Practicality kicked in. It's a big sedan, rear seats, four doors, big boot and also, comfort with performance.

- Beautiful to look at. :lol:

 

3. Honda NSX Type-S Zero

- As a true JDM lover, a true JDM legend couldn't be out of the list.

- Well, it's a NSX, suspension and chassis developed and tweaked by Ayrton Senna... so, yes, very special to me.

 

4. Ferrari F355 Berlinetta

- Passionate.

- It's a Ferrari

- It's beautiful

- Manual gearbox, pls.

 

5. Ford King Ranch F250 Super Duty

- Again practicality. It's 4x4, has enough torque to tow around pretty much anything.

- Big trucks are fun.

- Looks like a giant toy.

- I can go with it in my farm, take care of my pet cows.

I was merely proving that we did not steal this from Jalopnik. Reading old threads and opinions is interesting, too.

I can't think of 5 cars I dream of owning. Driving, sure, but that does get old fairly fast.
