Lock our own threads when we are done. In the other forum i go to we are able to do that so we dont have people reviving old threads when we are done. I think we should be able to lock our own threads. Tell me what you think

Hmm in my experience this results in flame threads or petty insults as well as multiple posting of the same topic or question as searching and bringing up an old thread is actually better than having 5 threads all the same.

 

I don't think this is one we really will support but if people want it then post the reasons why as tbh I can't really think of any reasons why it's a good thing.

To Be Honest I just think the responsibilty is too great... I think if we had to do it the Bin section is the only place really we should be able to.. Otherwise just asks the mods or admins to delete the thread if it is incorrect or to read the post and clear it up of rubbish (Insults and what-not)...

we could have a request lock a thread button in which we request a thread to be closed and a message gets sent to you or a mod.
