Almost night time in Oahu.

Here's my Shelby GT500. I changed the color of the sky by adding a graduated tint in Picasa2.

Hello Hello! I loaded up TD:U for the first time in over 2 months. I miss this playing this game. I've been busy playing Half Life 2 and NFS:Prostreet. I noticed that my driving skills improved in TD:U after playing Prostreet, haha! Here are some screens trashing about on Oahu in a Lamborghini Murcielago.

Papa needs a new Video Card, my 7300GS is starting to not play the newer games with decent framerates. (7950GT 512mb FTW!!!)

Off topic: I love the new 163.76 BETA drivers from Nvidia. I get better framerates at 800x600!

I know this is old, but I just noticed this:

Pontiac GTO, or is it the HSV GTS Coupe? LOL!:

The GTO was actually a Holden Monaro, and remained that throughout the entire production of the vehicle. The Coupe GTO/GTS was actually in NFS:HP2, and there are a few noticeable differences.

Just thought I'd fill you in on the works :)

Oh and those 800x600 pics look nice :)

tbh, i thought that the Holden Monaro, HSV GTS Coupe, Pontiac GTO were all one car with different badgin. I also thought that the HSV GTS Coupe is a modified Monaro.

Yeah, I played NFS:HP2, good times.

DAMN IT! What's up with the jagged edges? It was set to 4xAA when i took the pictures.

I think that would be because the textures are designed for a higher resolution, so lose some of their quality.

should i dumb down the AA? i play with 2xAA and just set it to 4 to take the pictures.

i can't wait til i save up enough cash for my rig so i can max out games. i can only max out source based games. hopefully by the start of the new year i have enough cash. here's what i have in mind

amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ 2.6ghz cpu

2x 1gb corsair ddr2-800 ram or if i can find a 2gb stick, better.

nvidia 7950gt 512mb gpu. i'm not switching to vista anyway. or if i'm real desperate, an nvidia 8800gt 512mb.

i'll be ordering these from america and have them shipped here. parts are way cheaper over there.

the AA is whatever you want it to be set at, but running at a higher setting will cause a lot of fps drop. Personally, I would go the 8800GT over the 7950, simply because you will be semi-future proofing, and the 8800 is good value for money. (7950 is like 2 years old now isn't it?)

more or less two years old but still a very good card. it can max out crysis on dx9. but i'll go for the 8800gt 512mb. i'll wait for the nvidia 9series to come out for price drops or if i'll get a 9 series instead.
