Since there is a large amount of customization available in Need For Speed.

 

I'm sure some of you have tried so make a replica of real cars you've seen.

 

Well just an idea, why not have a competition like POTW type of thing. I'm not sure how many people still play and NFS games, but I would be up for trying to make a replica.

 

Doesn't have to be a major thing like POTW, just a thing on the side.

 

Anyway if not, people can post their replicas here.

 

I tried to make a replica of the BMW used in NFS Most Wanted.

Maybe not. But when I've made it about 6 times now because my brother has broken my memory card (ps2) or the PS2 couldn't handle all the information fro the different paint jobs

There is a NPC M3 in the game that uses the Most wanted GTR vinyl but you can access the vinyl yourself.

i'll go look for that vinyl sometime. first, i got to re-buy the e46 lol.

I will be the first person the find a car to make a replica of a car. Then just like POTW we will hopefuly be able to have a vote where everyone can participate on voting who has the best replica.

errr. i'm not artistic, but what the heck, i'll give it a shot. :D

 

my suggestion

* themed cars (i.e. like the show "Trick It Out")

* customize the same car

I think we should open this for Most Wanted and Carbon, as the vinyl modding is quite good one those too :)

Ok this week's theme is this Supra

 

 

And then you lot go and use Ford Gt or something, what ever the car is in the photo that is the car you must customize in the game.

 

I will check to see if the car is available in Need For Speed - Most Wanted, Carbon and Pro Street.

I highly doubt Diablo would put a throphy etc in our posts ... as he detests NFS, mainly EA though. It could be just an image we put in our signatures.

I just wanted to know if it was ok with him for me to make Replica Of The Week (ROTW) thread every week, just like POTW.

The supra was an example, well the competition will be called Replica of the week, and we will be voting for the person who can make their car look most identical to the car I/winner chooses. Is this a problem?

Yes actually, since I took out Carbon and Most Wanted a few months ago. Got tons of replicas saved though, but they're all real life cars or movie cars, not some random tuner's car

Hehe i used to be a photomode poser on NFSUNLIMITED.net but i havent done that in ages. People would post how they wanted thier cars made & i'd make em & photo them in most wanted.

Nice :) I like TFT aswell. But my brother broke my memory card with all my decent versions on :(

 

Anyway -

 

I can really only take pictures using my Bedroom TV (21" CRT), otherwise I'd seriously annoy the Mother if I put the PS2s into the lounge :p Hence the lack of a bigish screen.
