Edit : found a bug in existing key ! I advise you to get the latest and fix your MAP again.

However I found a problem xD

 

I used the 'Convert Many' (.2db to .dds) then tried to convert the .dds back to .2db and found I couldn't, because you need the original .2db file. And that never got produced xD

 

E: Just extracted using the .bnk editor :)

You may request :) But it would take some time to find corresponding key, as a bunch of rims have the same sizes (more than 20 files !). And I can't really do such a work on TDU for now.

 

Why wouldn't you rather use the patched MAP ? I've attached it to the topic (see first post). After one week, I hadn't any problem online with it .

The magic map is a file which replaces your Bnk1.map and allows ANY file replacement, no matter how the size is. Definitively.

i realy need to put lights in the light poles and modifie the ocean shore...

the rest is al set, and its playable like NFS.

is there any one out there who can help?

Doing lights etc requires to get into the whole island... Which is no possible.. You would have to mainly reprogram the game to activate the lights or at least put the light effect and light glare etc..

i have some problems to repack the bnk for the clk 55 amg. can you check it? my game crashs every time and i didn´t change anything in the model. i only import and export it with zmodeler.

Please upload your BNK 'updated' file somewhere, so that I can test it on my Rig.

 

Which exact steps did you follow to repack 3d files into the BNK ?

And yes, there might be some bugs with TDU Modding Tools...

my steps:

 

- i import it in zmod

- export it with zmod

- i open modding tools an select the bnk

- i select the new files and select "modify file size"

- then i select again the new files and select "maintain size", only now i get a new bnk file

 

with the rs4 or the ruf rt12 i have no trouble with same import way.

Just imported it into ZM2 with a few texture errors...

 

Didn't try to export it yet, as my week computer is not TDU-Capable :)

I'm currently working on the next version (1.6). You'll find bug fixes and some new features.

the clk problem is fixed. zmod doesnt work correct on the materials. i got many purple parts ingame although all works fine in zmod and all 2db are avialable. :-x

Important Update!

 

Magicmap does NOT work with non-megapack versions of TDU!

 

It will cause non-megapack versions of TDU to crash!
