Chopy sound after installing patch...

After installing patch (1.66A, but previous versions also), I get chopy sound when i accelerate with some cars, and only when I use in-car view.

It's not big problem, but it's pretty annoying! :mad:

 

As I got it, there are some changes on sound levels in patches, so I think that's the problem...

 

Can I re-modify sound levels?

yeah. the patch ruined some sounds of the cars in game. but we do have sound mods available now. ;)

Yes, thanks, I saw that already... But does that solve the problem? After modding, sound isn't chopy any more?

hmmm. try updating your sound card drivers first.

I'll try with sound card drivers (if there are any new ones)...

If that doesn't solve it, I'll try with mods!

Every car that is loud! For example, Alfa Romeo Brera and GT are OK, but 8C's sound is chopy! Same thing with Maserati... GranSport is OK, but MC12 isn't!

TVRs and Lotus Exige are very loud, and their sound is very chopy!

Everything was fine before installing patch... Engine sound was lauder but it was ok! Now it's quieter, but it cracks all the time!

 

Sound mods didn't help either...

 

I really don't now what's the problem.... :rolleyes:

Yep, it solves the problem, but with drops in frame rate!
