The transmissions in all these cars are infuriating. For example when I put it in neutral and red line the engine, then smack it into first, I want the tyres to spin like a mental case out of prison with no delay between, but as soon as you shift up a gear you loose ALL RPM and it slowly eases up the revs and spins the wheels. Thats not realistic at all! Electronic Arts got it right, why cant Atari lol. I want a mod to change this (first off)...if its even possible. An offline mod of course, but a mod nonetheless.

 

Also, although not strictly a car mod, but equaly annoying, the bumpy road thing. Its like your driving up a mountain side every time you go over a minor bump in the road. SILLY! FIX IT PLEASE! lol.

Sounds like you have some form of Driving Aid (Traction Control) on as most cars will peel out on a launch.

Oh, and also:

 

GET A G25 AND SET IT UP REALISTICALLY LIKE I DID! :cheeky:

 

I never turn assists off, and hardly ever go out of Hardcore mode. Also, the bumpy roads are a problem, people have complained a lot.

My driving aids are off and i have the same problem.

The Gallardo for example.

If you are in 8k rpm and put it in first with your foot flooring it all the way, it goes back to 2krpm and then gives you a massive burnout till 90mph or something.

Also how can you mod/change the way it changes gears, for me you do something like 8k in 1st and as soon as u go in2 second it drops and takes about 2 seconds to start going again!

I mean like a smooth type of gear change that runs nicely!?
