  1. Please make sure the club you make is 'turboduck'; lowercase and one word thank-you. :)
  2. It will be lacking but the way the Xbone is going this game on X360 will probably sell better than the new-gen version. Then again I don't think Horizon sold quite as well as they thought.
  3. Dynamic weather coming to the game is a bit of a bold claim, that would be something that would be perfect for selling The Crew 2 in 2016/17, I'd love to see them do it though. Found it quite funny that the reason Ubisoft partnered with them was due to the online aspect of TDU1 which iirc was down off and on for about 3-4 months at the beginning. Then again they did nail it within 6 months on the 360, PC had quite a turbulent time though.
  4. Clearly you should be excluded for exceeding track-limits. :cheeky:
  5. The hardest thing about earning money in TDU2 for most people is not the racing itself but the handling that makes the racing a real chore. Unless you can actually tolerate the way the cars move sure making money via racing isn't too bad, but if like myself and many others you feel this game falls flat on this then it is damn near impossible to make some decent cash in a good time frame. The dodging traffic isn't too bad but I know myself that I only enjoyed TDU2 because of the Casino and that is also the reason I was able to buy everything. 98% of my TDU2 gametime was in the Casino.
  6. Can't wait to see your photomode images stu.
  7. Haha at that reaction gif Ozz. And the Avent Roadster really does suit TDU down to an absolute T.
  8. That's a few weeks old I think, there's been many more released as well as videos but I guess people don't care about it much.
  9. A Diablo SV, well of course now you have my attention. Hermano: I wasn't implying anything in regards to your question, all I was saying was if you don't show that your question is not one of the usual 'why this car?' or 'can we have this one?', then no matter how it's worded it can easily be construed that way because words are just words and people can read a tone that's not meant to be there in them. You have to remember being a modder is quite a thankless role, they see the downloads hit the 100's, 1000's and probably beyond but get little to no recognition or gratitude for the work they did to bring that mod to these people. So it doesn't take a smart man to realise that when someone says they should be working on something else, or that they hate all these types that they're making, that a sharp reply is given back in some instances. Truth be told they probably hear more about what they should not be doing than a thanks for what they are doing!
  10. New billboard ad that's coming?
  11. I get what you are saying and in the case of Minime and how he responded to you then of course I can see why you would feel aggrieved with that. I also have seen the whole "I'm leaving" plan of action and to be honest I just look at it and say 'Ok bye', I might be sorry to see you go but hey that's your choice. I'm not here to and will not praise or back you up for responding to people in a certain manner, if you get a throwback after being first to throw then as long as it doesn't break the rules I don't care and actually value a worthy discussion over any other to-and-fro between members. Modding is always a love/hate thing, unless the game has been designed to support it obstacles are always going to be in the way and workarounds will have to be used. As great as it would be to easily have it work the way you want compared to the way it does is a compromise you will always have to make, and stating that you would much rather have an answer in the way of a polite response without pre-empting it in your post that is asking the question is going to result in an 'in hindsight' occurrence. 'Is there any chance we can see more low-mid range cars in an upcoming update instead of high-powered exotics and such? I'm not demanding any but just wondering if anything like this is in mind. Thanks.' Maybe I'm naive to think this would get a better and less snap-at response but by lowering the tone with the latter part I would be inclined to think a more normative response would be received. BTW we love feedback - if you love, hate or would like to see us do something post it in our Feedback area. I'm only one person but I do care about you guys our members.
  12. Hmm we have a dedicated Photomode section for Forza stuff. You confuse me with this offering you offer.
  13. Banning you would be positively humorous though. :D
  14. I guess it's that time of year again. *sigh* :bdown: Modding in most capacities is something that is done by an individual during their own time and also at their own expense. Don't forget that first and foremost. Yes some modders - as we have seen in the past - will get full of themselves and act like they are some sort of celebrity and can freely criticise and shoot down people who offer feedback or even other modders, but looking and sounding (via your posts) like a pure tool doesn't make you look good in any way at all. And the sad truth is that you will always have people want you to make their favourite or something different to what you are, because as with most cases like this the most vocal are the minority. Those who are saying nothing are fine with what you are providing to them and can't wait for what comes next, however those who want something different will tell you this and of course they won't be alone but like it or not you guys are usually the smallest group, everyone else is content with what's coming down the pipeline. What's funny though is if you look about you can actually find plenty of everyday cars for download, maybe not the one you specifically want but unless you are doing the modding yourself you can never be sure you will actually get what you want. The other point is most modding is converting so unless a model that you want is available chances are it's not coming. And hilariously enough TDUZoqqer has the most right to shout how great he is and how bad everyone else is, as he actually makes some of his mods from scratch but he's like the ideal modder as he takes everything in his stride and shares his skillz with the community freely! I honestly can't think of many other people like him who are this down-to-earth and relaxed. Last thing - you want the Unofficial Patch to continue? Well you need the people involved to... well be involved, so if they start leaving or getting irate at the feedback and sniping then they may just walk away completely, then where are you and who does that help? No-one. The old saying of; 'you never know what you had until you've lost it' applies and if a small number of you don't consider this then you will find out s**ner rather than later that having nothing is complete crap next to having something. Now play nice.
  15. They need more cars in the list otherwise I can see people waiting for it to go down in price before purchasing due to the lack of cars. Especially when you consider it next to the console equivalents. PC may be ok as they are used to low numbers in their games which they then bolster with modding.
  16. The @GAMEdigital twitter just revealed that they got dibs from BandaiNamco UK that Project CARS the crowd-funded sim-racer from developers Slightly Mad Studios will be releasing at the latter end of November on the 21st, which is a Friday btw. It's amazing to think how long this project has been going and for those of us lucky enough to have been able to watch and of course playtest it as it's evolved is quite something indeed.
