After playing the Beta I was worried about CoD movement with your character but after reading an article on Joystiq and also seeing the below video, I'm no longer worried and cannot wait for some BF madness. Been playing BF1943 again and when you get a great team together on both sides the battles are *jeremy clarkson* assssstonnnnnnishing. :D

BlackBox were good before EA bought them, after all they did the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2 and that was easily regarded as the best of all platforms.

Reading the Overview I can see this game/sim easily passing the 1m sales mark. I love the campaign progress they have except that you need to go via Drift to get to Rally. Grrr! :lol:

This thing is looking incredible but remember this is destined or planned for the 3 platforms of PC, 360 and PS3 if I remember correctly and to be honest if you can invest then you should as if there's 1 thing this team know what to do, it is how to make a kickass racing simulator that not only looks good or handles but also sounds amazing. C.A.R.S is going to shake up gaming development and show how community involvement and listening can and will actually benefit your business and product. Novel thinking it isn't but this unique approach as well as actually listening and not having some know nothing puppeteer publisher dictating everything that marketing says should be in, will produce an absolute belter of a game. :D BRING IT ON!!

I'd be more along the line to say TDU1 is like Die Hard 1 whereas TDU2 is like Die Hard 4.0. Lots of style but a stupid story and hardly any of the substance to what made the previous great. :D

They've obviously added leech protection to the images now. Shame.

It's a real shame when someone is taken away in the pursuit of sport but the somewhat good thing about this sort of happening is that person the died doing what they loved. Sure some people would comment about the fact that they are gone means that it's not or wasn't worth doing but if you consider what these people do in one race day compared to what most people do in their lives, then I know that a number would swap for just 1 week of that crazy, adrenaline filled madness. RIP.

No, but I had the issue where my guy wouldn't jump, he would just stay in front of the obstruction or float on top of it.

Indeed, common sense and decency to fellow players should be considered in regards to the mods and modifications that are offered or that are allowed to occur. However this is the reason why one of the main requests for TDU2 in regards to modding was that freeroam should allow mods but races, competitions, challenges should be reset, reverted or a notice should show a message that 'you cannot enter [said action] with your current vehicle' via the server.

I'll use that option also though I have to say the visuals didn't bother me in the Beta apart from some of the sandbags but then again I only saw them when covering or jumping over them anyway. :)

I'm waiting before getting this as I'm not in any rush to be honest. Make sure you guys get posting your pics and such, I can see this section growing once everyone stops playing and shares their experiences and images. :lol:
