1. How are you guys finding this? I have seen a few saying they're not too fond of the handling, and I am not talking about those who haven't realised you can disable the assists.
2. Assetto Corsa – Laguna Seca Bonus Pack A new free Bonus Pack containing the Laguna Seca race track and at least six cars is coming to Assetto Corsa, hopefully before the end of the year. Product Brand Manager (+ many other titles!), Marco Massarutto revealed the news during an interview with SimRacingGirl at the recent SimRacing Expo. In it he was asked about the rumours that “they were bringing out the Laguna Seca track” (timestamp: 4 mins 7 seconds), to which he began his answer by explaining the technical problems that caused the delay in the first place, then continued on to how because of that, they have decided to piece together a new Bonus Pack that included the track and “6 to 8 cars”. From the sum of all its parts it is likely this was originally proposed to be a new premium Dream Pack, but we won't be complaining about the change if that was the case, nope not at all. Those of you with good memories will remember that the track was initially teased back in October last year, with an intended release a few months after. Since this interview, Massarutto has been busy doing what he does best, getting people hyped by unveiling even more details through his replies on Facebook. The latest of which has shown us the six cars that will make up the car-based portion of the pack. It hasn't been officially named, but on the official forums where another comment (need to be registered) made by Massarutto was referenced, but not sourced, they are calling it the Laguna Seca Bonus Pack, and so we will too. Assetto Corsa - 'Laguna Seca Bonus Pack' Cars Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Lamborghini Huracan Performante Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Maserati Quattroporte Pagani Huayra BC Looking at that list it’s quite unbelievable that this will be free but then Kunos Simulazioni have been really good to their fans, and if this is the final goodbye before they jump onto a new project (Assetto Corsa 2?), well it’s a super way to do it! Thanks Kelvjy for the tip!
3. I had a look and found a comment of his but it was later than the time that post on the official forums was made. Made a post about it on the site and thanked you @Kelvjy for the tip. :)
4. HOLY CRAP Bonus Packs are usually free are they not?! Any idea where this comment was made?
5. Win Mantis Burn Racing + Elite Class DLC Thanks to the good people at UK-based indie developer VooFoo Studios and the universal cosmic luck in being picked as 1 of 2 winners in their recent twitter contest, we have a Steam code of their awesome top-down racer Mantis Burn Racing and its Elite Class DLC to give away! If you follow us on our crewed account then you will know that we will at times retweet contests and competitions that are currently being run by publishers, developers and hardware makers. It should also be noted that many of the gaming media reviews are up to a year old therefore some of their criticisms have been tackled with updates since. Mantis Burn Racing is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
6. I was contemplating opening this up to twitter and Facebook too but I thought it would be nice to keep it for those of you who are an active part of our community. :duck: (any newbies who post are most welcome too!) Good luck!
7. Not big on the wheels but like the colour and the orange calipers.
8. Another quality game up for free on the Humble Store. This time it's Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. This is a classic this game and should not be missed!! The Humble Store: Great games. Fantastic prices. Support charity.
9. Why not indeed. Nice cover shot to start things off.
10. Assetto Corsa Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack Out Now! The Assetto Corsa Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack is now available to purchase on PC (Steam). In an amazing collaborative effort with the infamous Italian auto manufacturer, developers Kunos Simulazioni have gone and put together a pack that includes some of the most iconic models to have ever had a Ferrari badge on them. And with the title already having a rather nice selection of Ferraris in its roster by default, as well as those delivered inside the optional Red Pack, the scope covered in this new car pack is quite impressive, as classic and modern varieties of both road and racing cars make up its list. You would think having 70 years of production and racing heritage to choose from would be difficult, and it should be. But when people think of Ferrari, there are a number of cars that will always rank high, and so it is of little wonder that we see some of them here. Even then, Kunos only had to choose six as they left the final slot open for the winner of a poll that was voted for by their community, where with over 30,000 votes cast it was the current Formula 1 car taking the win with over 15% of the vote. Assetto Corsa - Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack 1962 250 GTO 1967 330 P4 1967 312/67 1984 288 GTO 2004 F2004 2017 812 Superfast SF70H Depending on the type of player, this pack may be good for having more road cars to hot lap with, the ability to re/create racing series’, or even if they are a true Ferrari fan, they might want nothing more than to set up a one make race where the field is filled with only the legends that sport a Prancing Horse. Therefore if you like what you see, have a fondness for an Italian red beauty, or just want more cars in your copy of AC, then this pack will do you well. That means at some point before the end of November. Honestly though, I would say as long as it drops before the end of the year that would be good – any earlier is a bonus
11. Forza Motorsport 7 Demo Out Now! The Forza Motorsport 7 demo is out now for download on Xbox One and PC, giving players a real taste of what they can expect from the next in the amazing Forza Motorsport series before it officially launches in a little under two weeks. While waiting for it to download you might like this glimpse at the demo’s content courtesy of the official Hoonigan YouTube channel. A bunch of them got together and challenged each other to a hot lap contest and through this we get a good view of the racing experiences that can be had in it. It also gives players of the demo something to aim for as all the times are posted. And with players being able to take a heavy but extremely speedy racing truck round Mugello, pilot the cover car Porsche 911 GT2 RS through one of the new Dubai environment tracks, or hang on to a Nissan GT-R at a soaking wet storm hit Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit, there should be enough here to tide them over until they get their hands it on for themselves. In addition to this Turn 10 have set loose the official Launch Trailer and posted a new batch of screenshots. Right enough of that, go download the demo for Xbox One or PC now. 12. It's now available! Assetto Corsa - Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack on Steam
13. Demo out at 10AM PDT / 5PM GMT
14. Don't think the demo has gone up yet (not seeing it on the store) but this video will give you an idea and also a time to beat.
15. That last Porsche shot would be phenomenal without the driver. The playing in the snow shots are equally just as good too and that colour is (golden) delicious. :D
16. The game that keeps on giving... and taking. How much they set you back?
17. This is how I see it. It doesn't matter that Vettel wasn't aware of where the others were, it was still his actions that caused the whole mess.
18. What a crazy day the Silverstone weekend was in relation to the championship contenders. So many ups and downs that ended up with four potentials turning into a realistic two now. You can never really discount Shedden though, but unless Sutton and Turks have a really bad day at Brands in a fortnight I think his hopes are gone. I'm still not sure what to think about that Subaru: Plato can moan all he likes but the speedtraps and the ease in which a full of ballast car can carve up the field and catch up to the front runners must mean some sort of advantage is in that car somewhere. Not to take away from what Sutton has done and to be honest I love that it will likely be Sutton and Turks who will end up Champion as that nicely sticks it to Plato who has been pretty useless this season (will we see him take out Turks at Brands?). As Turks funnily said, he came into Silverstone 12 points behind the championship leader and so to end up finishing the weekend at just 12 points behind after all that happened is not something he really expected to happen. Cannot believe how fast this year has gone; even the summer break seemed to breeze by and now we're at the end of it all in just two weeks!
19. Wow they came to the conclusion that it was just a racing incident? I never watched any of the race, was too busy watching the BTCC race weekend but I did see footage of the Ferrari sandwich and it's pretty obvious who was at fault.
20. Very classy choice there Mike, can't wait to see the pics. :)
21. That is a really bad place for a numberplate. Strangely cool pic though.
22. Yippee you posted more! :happyroll: That second shot with the rear of the CGT is real nice and the black wheels on the yellow adds a good bit of attitude to the car.
23. Good battles going on in there. Where did you end up finishing in it? Also, was this online as that lagging Ferrari seemed to be a bit of a nuisance?
24. Car looks good in that livery and I think the darker wheels work much better with the car as a whole. Excellent action shots too, that one where the car is two-wheeling beside an opponent looks awesome. :p
