    The general feeling with civilisations who reach the capability of interstellar space travel is that they have passed the stage of almost destroying themselves and have learned to exist, thus they would completely ignore us as we're not worth bothering with. I mean if the reports are believed to be true, then we just have to look at how quickly any UFO is attacked when it enters our airspace. There's a feeling that technology has evolved too quick for there not to have been something that kick-started it in the mid-point of the 20th century. In a way you can see where they're coming from but at the same time there was a good amount of discoveries that you would imagine would lead to what we have today anyway.

    Yeah that is coming back on us that quote isn't it! Valid point and the same can be said about how an Abarth 500 is EXTREME too. As great as that is and the amount of work required to do so deems huge respect, the fact of the matter is people will see the number of cars and possibly turn away due to it. It's great you can look at it this way but if you have to explain it in the manner you did then how many people do you think will actually take notice of it? Therein lies the problem.

    In all fairness you can't expect this game to hit Forza Horizon numbers but TDU numbers would be a good start. One thing to take into account and we won't really know how this goes until either real close to release or until we have the game ourselves is how many of those Circuit specs are real world examples essentially making another new car for the game. Not sure if many of the other specs can properly reflect a totally new car like Circuit can, maybe Raid?

    Updated the list to reflect the latest known info and known DLC cars as well as those that are unknown but were shown in DLC related media. Interestingly the cars we have seen in previous media before the Season Pass trailer came out are kind of in a sort of limbo, the SRT Viper and the Alfa Romeo 4C for example. Unless one of them is coming to the Extreme Pack, though where does that then put the C63 AMG? :hmmm:

    Brian Cox's shows are good in that they are informative but also are so well explained and demonstrated that what he is showing is simple to grasp. As for whether we are alone in this universe, I can't see how we can be, will we ever find out though? Well that's the question as despite all the sci-fi and fiction about space travel the vast size and distances in space are just to - forgive the pun - astronomical to even comprehend and the only way we could actually start thinking of exploring is with some truly new undiscovered physics defying engine making travel both fast and safe for humans. Even when scientists ponder believable possibilities the safety factor is usually the limiting one. Saying this though, if we went back 100 years and showed where we are now they would probably think the impossible had been achieved so who knows where we will be in the year 2114. There is also a very good but also depressing belief that the alien life we will encounter will be robotic sent out by an alien species due to the fact that space travel in a galaxy-hopping deep space exploration method is truly impossible and only self-sufficient AI would be able to actually do it.

    I'm still amazed at the fact it bounced about a km high and still managed to hit the comet again, I mean that bounce could easily have launched it out into space. About the batteries, there was a mention about it possibly being able to grab some solar power this morning but if nothing has come of that then it's clearly in a well shaded area and we may not hear from Philae again until August 2015 or perhaps even never again. :(
