    The PS4 train continues to steam along and nothing appears to be in it's way as reports say that it's launch in it's home of Japan has passed the 320,000 sales marker in just two days! That's a big difference compared to it's bigger brother the PS3 which sold close to 90,000 (blu-ray issues constrained that though) on it's launch weekend. Japan was a bit of a worry for people to as they seem to be more aligned to smartphones and handhelds such as the Nintendo DS but if this shows us something it is that Japanese gamers still love them some home console gaming action. PS4 has more than likely now sold over 5.5million worldwide since it's launch in November 2013 and Sony has said that low stock will probably remain until at least April. The overstay of the PS3 and Xbox 360 generation certainly seems to have made people's hearts grow fonder for this new generation of console gaming and the sales are just going to continue to come, now all we need is the games!! Though with inFAMOUS Second Son and a rumoured VR device - that's on-par with the Oculus Rift - Sony certainly has a very cool gaming future ahead of it and so do its current and future PS4 owners.     The Xbox One has been getting a few jabs and even a couple of uppercuts in certain regions of Europe and this was understandable as Europe is basically PlayStation territory, however one place where Xbox did have down comfortably was the UK but the tide has turned a good bit with the next-gen duo as PS4 is starting to build up a lead. A lot of this could be down to the very clever and memory evoking brand play of the PS1 and PS2 Sony UK used or it could be that people don't like paying £80 extra for a system with weaker specs and a peripheral they have no real desire for, but hey who knows! :cheeky: In fighting spirit though Microsoft UK have come out with this reduction of £30 to £399.99 starting this coming Friday the 28th February. Not only that though as they will be giving away a free digital download version of Titanfall to people who purchase their new Titanfall bundle so even though it still costs more and is less-powerful it's price is now a lot closer to that of the PS4. The Xbox One 'Titanfall' bundle is also going to be available globally but with no price reduction... or increase so a free game is good for those of you who waited, but a bit of a kick in the dogs danglies for you early adopters, but hey! That's the risk you take being one of the first right? So does this make you want to get one now? :p

    Twitch has been a success on PS4 what with 20% of streaming on the service coming via its users but now Xbox One is getting in on the action and providing a 'less limiting' experience than what Sony's offering does. Market speak you gotta love it, regardless this is a good thing as both consoles will now be providing their users the ability to stream the greatness or complete dire attempts at gaming for all to see and comment upon! That's where things get interesting, no not the trolls or try-hards but the way developers can make the game react to what people are saying via the chat. Examples that are already in existence or are coming are the ability to give a player health, items or be evil and spawn more or powerful enemies for them to face. It's no longer a watch and that's it type thing, it's getting people involved and in a good way too. Of course you're going to have those people who try and push it but that's the world we are in today and except for the actions of a few dodgy blokes this will be a valuable feature for both consoles to have.     Don't be so sure, the rumours were the game was coming to current-gen and PC then they look to have switched it to next-gen so there may be some residual cross-gen showing due to that. The fact they essentially have the tech and a good bit of the talent of Ubisoft at their disposal is only a good thing when you consider that Ubi Reflections (Driver SF) are helping with the PS4 and other things. Their physics guy (Tixier) is a big rFactor and Assetto Corsa fan it seems too.

    Ring the Lotus Another update for Assetto Corsa is due this Friday and on their official Facebook they have posted goodies such as a blurred out pic of the Michael-Schumacher-S (keep fighting Michael!) from the Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit and updated their cover to an in-game shot of the Lotus Exos T125, in the past these actions have proven to show what is to come to the title so these latest postings have obviously created much excitement for what may be to come on Friday. We've known that the Nurburgring-Nordschleife is coming later this year via the fan vote but this is the first real indication that the GP circuit would be coming much quicker and it could be dropping on us in the next few days! Even better is it adds to the roster and inventory of the game as it builds its way up to it's final v1.0 release. Accessible F1 The Lotus Exos T125 is essentially an F1 car that those with the ability and cash can purchase, the original intent of the project was to create as close to possible an F1 car, but make it that bit easier to drive and a touch more comfortable due to it's bigger cockpit than your typical F1 car. Powered by a Cosworth 3.8 liter V8 that produces a staggering 640bhp and weighing only 590kg due to a bespoke carbon composite with Nomex and aluminium core chassis with carbon composite panels means a power-to-weight ratio of more than 1000bhp per tonne!! That means this fecker is FAST! The signs are good that these are more than likely coming in the next update so if you want to be in on it then click the link below and get the game now!     The Skin contest is kind of cool though but yeah the quietness on the number of cars and even media from the game is sort of worrying. DRIVECLUB is the same though it may have a very good reason for it's delay if rumours are to be believed! (Sony VR)

    What's the problem with the controls? I think the boxart is merely a placeholder, it's also probable that they are just guesstimating that it will come out 1 year after the original version. Taking their time announcing it though, then again that could be down to them wanting to eradicate all the bugs and glitches out of GTA Online, which will be one hell of a job to get right!
