  1. It still looks like a fun game to mess with and the ability to choose your approach to the way you go about the objective and whether to be a good guy or a villain is something I always like in games. Still keeping this one on my maybe list, would like to see some current-gen gameplay too.
  2. The hype may have gone down a bit for this game since over a year ago but videos like this still show the game has promise.
  3. That will be good to hear for those who still want to buy the cars and bikes for this game.
  4. They also said they have upped the original CPU from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz and that the console is now fully in production. It's still weaker than the PS4 in the GPU and memory bandwidth but anything that brings both closer in parity is welcome as it should mean devs don't have to scale back too much on multi-platform titles.
  5. I'm actually happy they are going with more normal cars rather than the exclusive must-have, as that is a bit cheap and feels like the whole removing content just to sell it type thing that is is so rife these days. :-x Typically if a game tries so hard to get you to pre-order with stupid bonuses I'll just wait to pick it up cheap in about 2 months time.
  6. Microsoft have just announced that the Xbox One will be released globally in 13 territories (:oook:) on the 22nd November 2013, apparently 8 years to the day of Xbox 360. Extra 'Day One' editions have been added too so if you thought you were too late well maybe it's not so run Forest run! via MCV Online
  7. Good video, definitely still getting a PGR vibe from the look of the handling, maybe a tad stickier/heavier than that series but impressions so far are looking tasty! Evolution Studios have an interesting dev process where they usually get the core done right upto a few months before release then go all-in on polishing the visuals and tidying up the framerate and such. Just look at Motorstorm for an example of this, their past history and the credentials behind the team instil confidence that DRIVECLUB will turn out to be a damn good launch title for the PS4. :D
  8. You're always able to pre-order way in advance, many people have had GTA V on order since the first trailer. And let's not even start with those who pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever, Agent or The Last Guardian.
  9. Saw this image showing off a the 'Shelby GT500 Pack' you get with the Limited Edition of the game and saw that it shows some interesting bits about the "extensive" customisation the game will have. Just look at the individual upgrades to see what I mean. http://static9.cdn.ubi.com/resource/en-GB/game/thecrew-game/portal/DLC-Shelby-UK_109026.png[/img] :hmmm: Differential, possible to make an AWD act more like a RWD perhaps?
  10. Kaz did talk about that being something he would like to do with a future GT, maybe a spin-off ala Forza Horizon?
  11. 欢淫新淫,即使在论坛你也要故意把我的名字打错么
  12. update: confirmed it's a 2000 build (still old but not too old :P) 我上个星期去旅游时碰到一些住房里面的人才真叫米帝, 我迟点发个博客文说那个
  13. That interior lighting of the Zonda still makes me smile at how good it looks.
  14. Two weeks until GTA V then probably another two weeks from GTA V to GTA Online. :hmmm: Wonder if I'll get GTA V before GTAO is out? ....c'mon Tesco!!
  15. For a number of people one of the best things about a car/bike/truck is it's sound, media today can closely replicate what the actual sounds like, and when people see this available in a game and they have heard it then they want to experience it. It's a reason why Forza is so well admired in this aspect, even though not all the cars are accurate there are many that truly are. Not to mention the fact they have tunnel sounds and echoes off closed in areas done brilliantly too. It's all about the immersion and making you feel like you are experiencing what it is like to be behind the wheel of that vehicle. A good example would be the Carrera GT, hearing this from the outside it screams like a banshee, but when sitting behind the wheel it's supposedly very muted and you don't get to feel what those outside are getting as you pass them by. So yeah accurate sounds may not be important to a few but for ardent car nuts the sound is probably the 2nd thing they want the most! (after handling of course. ;))
  16. Impressive and detailed write-up mate, I applaud your initiative to just go for it and see it paying off, though to be fair BTCC is usually a fairly laid-back and welcoming atmosphere except for the ToCA folk I've heard. I love that little mention of the kid going by you on the bike, just seems so out of place and yet so right for the attitude of allowing people to explore. +rep also :D
  17. Hehe maybe Ivory Tower are testing the theory that having Lamborghini but 'no Ferrari' (and none of their restrictive crap) is better than the reverse? :hmmm:
