  5. GT Sport vs Forza 6 Audio Forza has typically been the winner in the console arena for authentic sounds but it could be about to have some actual competition in this from none other than Gran Turismo Sport. We had already talked about the off-screen footage showing a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat running around Brands Hatch, captured by MotoGamesTV, that was sounding good in a number of areas. Not least the change from the ear-busting tyre squeal the GT series has incorporated since it’s debut. As if to show that what we are hearing is not simply a trick of the mind or a sort of placebo effect (aka wishful thinking), MotoGamesTV have put a video together where they compare sounds of the same car in both Forza Motorsport 6 on Xbox One and the early footage mentioned before of GT Sport. It’s about the sound remember so the static image shown is not a problem, this is meant for your ears not your eyes. Your eyes should only be looking for what title’s audio is currently active. No doubt fanboys will jump in and claim a win for their own but newsflash people, you want both games to be as good as one another in all aspects as competition is a good thing, and it pushes these games to bigger and better things. Try not to forget that. From our own observations and comparing to videos like the above that feature the real vehicle, I think it is pretty clear that the interior GT Sport sound is the closer one. Forza’s version seems to be from a different car or has had its sound tweaked in a way that removes the natural grunt and turns it instead into something a bit synthetic sounding. The exterior though, from a couple of looks around of those videos where you can hear the car itself, and not have someone narrating over it, leans to Forza this time in my view. In all honesty, it is just good to see that a Gran Turismo is demonstrating sounds that the series has long deserved. Personally I cannot wait to see hear more footage if the audio is heading this way. Maybe I am completely wrong though, so make up your own mind. [via MotoGamesTV]
  6. Hmmm wow, 458 and Enzo are the best sounds. That's the 458 sound I always wanted, sounds awesome. 430 Scud and California aren't too shabby either. These aren't mine, found them on youtube, download link in the youtube videos. Only downside is that the horn button is now revving lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noB49Fw3Pnc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2GQRr62OO4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Ww2FVqX-M
  7. http://store.pole.se/sounds.asp I recommend to You to check this site - very good samples, but for much money.
  8. I made a tutorial: How to convert sounds to Tdu2. Maybe, you are not a good sound modder, then just convert sounds from other games! It's easy! :D Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzQaFpSa45Q&list=UUwFmUuiIZpsEwI5xA-zv7VA&index=1&feature=plcp
  9. Hey guys, I was wondering if it's possible to convert sounds from Project C.A.R.S. to TDU2, 'cause the sound of the Huayra in pCARS is absolutely stunning !!
  10. ISR got some new footage of GT6. Great. And then you click play and have no choice but to ask 'Seriously?' when you hear the engine. Yes there are plenty of games that don't have great sounds but no-one seems to make such a bad job of it as PD. I could forgive them for having rubbish sounds on the 'Standard' cars but this is a brand new addition to the game, and the sounds were GT5's biggest criticism. Does that mean we've all been ignored? Maybe/hopefully it's still WIP but they hand picked the car for the public demos and they don't have a lot of time left before they have to lock everything down for publishing. Here's the Raceroom Beta version of the same car: Here's the Project CARS Pre-Alpha version: I frankly don't expect GT to have that depth of sound, at least not on the PS3, but at least have average/half decent sounds instead of this rubbish.
  11. Hey guys, im lookin for different mods. well i got a mine'skyline and a s15 mod. for those i would need sound mods. for the skyline a sick rb26dett sound would be nice and for the s15 i'm searchin for a single turbo 2jz gte sound. well i found some sick sounds for tdu1 but they dont work for tdu2 :( maybe there exists a tool for sound mods etc? and then i would need some wheel mods like te37's etc. bcuz iluvjdm :) now to my question, i got zmodeler2 and i've modeled different gtasa mods, is it hard to get mods into tdu2? and is there a tutorial for it? greetings, Markus
  12. Here's what you've got : 4 new shifter sounds, new horn sounds for the bots and TDU vehicules (Cucaracha horn, Il Sorpasso horn, Dixie horn, Tequila horn, Kwai River horn, Marseillaise horn, Godfather horn, Vamos a La Playa horn, Dalton horn, Martin horn, italian bus horn, cavalery charge horn, ooh-gah horn, new police siren (not sure it works), trans-siberian horn, new firetruck siren) and a new turbo sound. I've included the wav files in a separate folder so you can customize the install if you like, maybe you don't want that cucaracha horn on your SLR ! (TDU audio system uses a dozen of horns for all the cars) NOTE: I've not tested it at 100% for now, so watch out for a potential update in few days, thanks (if you notice some issues please tell me). I'll post soon a preview link. DOWNLOAD:TDU beta alternative sounds (horns, shifters and turbo) by Doctor G.zip
  13. Where you can download sounds from Forza 3 or 4? Help please!
  14. Hi!I need help with this problem.I unpacked the sound by the TDU2 mini BNK Manager, but i dont know how to replace new files(for example louder turbo sound).
  15. Have been playing some TDU2 again, and one thing I really miss with cruising is the ambient sounds. We can hear the birds sing but I really miss the old traffic sounds from TDU1, now you almost can't hear the other cars. And also there is no sound of the wind when driving at reasonable speeds. That really makes the cruising more boring. Does anyone know about this? Maybe a mod that fixes it? Is anyone else interested in such a fix?
  16. Got my Evo IX in the 350z slot, and the WRX STi (2007 I think) in the S4 slot. Now I've edited their performance with TDUEditor (Performance Editor) and put in the new turbo hiss mod. Everything works fine, skyline sound rocks, supra sound rocks, GT3 RS sound rocks.. But hold on, the 350 and S4 (Evo IX and WRX STi) do not have any turbo sound.. So I was wondering how to change this, would love to hear them with a turbo.. I find it unrealistic to drive with 700 HP vehicles, heavily modded without the tiniest turbo sound. Best regards.

  18. So I suppose I've done everything right in importing a sound for a car from TDU2 into TDU1. I've been able to extract it, and open in it in audacity where I made it all the files mono, exported it as a 4-bit MC ADPCM and imported via TDU modding tools. Is there any special step I might be missing? Is there anything else that needs to be done to the sound files to make them work in TDU1? Because as of now, I do not get any sound from the car, its completely silent. I've tried using many different donor sound bnk's, but it remains silent.
  19. I was wondering if anyone could make a sound mod for the Maserati 3500GT? I think the standard sound is a bit...you know...it's not bad but I just don't like it.
  20. Hey there, here we are with TDU modding a real reality and with everyday that's passing modders are getting their hands into even more spaces and areas where they couldn't but thankfully are. Before you delve right in and start downloading and trying to install and then coming back here and crying or shouting at the mod author there are a few things you should remember. 1) Always BACKUP any files you may be changing or overwriting, so that if something does go wrong reverting back to a working situation is at least somewhat possible. This may not always be the case though and remember that modding is usually hassle free but that doesn't mean there isn't instances where things go wrong so be prepared for a reinstall if possible. 2) Mods for the most part should be enjoyed offline only, but due to a large part of the greatness of TDU being the online aspect it's understandable some or many of you may wish to do so, just be aware that the server might not want you on it due to some mods you use. 3) You are not allowed to sell Modifications that are not of your own full creation; any Intellectual Property rights you do not have permission to use cannot be used for commercial purposes and all modifications posted are merely for PERSONAL USE only. 4) DO NOT ASK for files from the TDU Installer or any files that come with TDU once installed, if you forgot to backup then that's your problem unfortunately! 5) turboduck, it's owner and/or it's Staff is not liable for any damage or loss of income or expense that may be experienced by your use of the Mods you find on our forums or downloaded via our members and their links; YOU USE THESE PROGRAMS AND MODIFICATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Modding is great for pro-longing the life and improving a title way beyond it's original, and let's face it with a title such as TDU2 that's not going to be hard. :D Ready to go? Ok, start by checking out the Tutorials and Installation Guides thread FIRST!
