  1. @DJoyTinnio There are many cars which never got a proper sound since TDU has been released. GranSport Enzo (!) 288 GTO 612 Scaglietti 575M and many more... 911 SC is a model of the 911 range, released with model year 1978. 911 SC - das ist ein Modell ab 1978.
  2. For me, the new 512 sound has perfect volume. I don´t like it when it´s too loud. Many sounds are way too lound, especially in cockpit view. They sound not like "in car" and that is bad. Remember, there is an insulation when you are in cockpit and this is hearable. @Jorge Very interesting explanation, thanks for that!
  3. 26 votes...all others are already into TDU2. :D BTW, easy vote for me. Thanks for this poll.
  4. In an other community there were some modders who created a racing series mod. Just short before release, the (racing series) license owner got knowledge and made the project getting stopped by lawyers. The modders had to stop and destroy all the files and they had to sign a declaration to cease and desist. They were not allowed to talk about the reasons to anybody in the community. I was not a big fan of chocolatestar in the past, but in this case, he is absolutely right. Modding is a legal grey area.
  5. I tried different values, but it doesn´t work. Maybe you could give me the proper name of the value if you´re back at your PC? Thanks
  6. Yes, kind of sinking into the ground. I knew what to change in TDUPE, but I can´t remember and google doesn´t help.
  7. Hi guys. I have a small problem - I put new rims on my Mini Cooper John Works. Looks great (OZ Superturismo GT), but it looks like the tires have low pressure. Could anybody tell me which value changes this issue in TDUPE?
  8. I use the antique (but good) Windows XP. Maybe you have to enable "show all types of files"? Sometimes not all files are shown. This is all I can guess. I don´t have any clues about Win 7, sorry.
  9. Well - I got it working finally! @ddfdriver Maybe you could describe what exactly is your problem, I will try to help you. It took some time until my noobish brain got what this decrypt/encrypt process was doing exactly. Additionally I found the correct rim in the rim database - I chose the wrong one before ( I thought the Spyder 90 uses the third GranSport rim, which is correct, but not in the database, there is an extra entry for Spyder 90 rim!). Now I know how it works properly, so I´ll try to help if needed.
  10. You are right - it´s a bad guide and not helpful in any way. I have a rim problem at the moment and I would like to use the rim resizer, but I can´t, even after watching this "manual".
  11. The same user, the same behaviour. BTW, making so many mistakes and blaming other users for their English is not very smart. Your posts are all about complaining, hurrying modders and insulting. This community is far better off without you. Definition of "without": " 1. free from; excluding {insert your nickname} 2. not accompanied by {insert your nickname}"
  12. You need "Need for Speed Underground", not TDU. :D Why would you need more "normal" cars, it´s a supercar game.
  13. Guys, I know what you´re talking about, but I have NEVER had any serious problem with the website. My anti virus programme never gave me a warning (it´s updated and it´s good). I don´t think there are real threats, maybe what causes the warning is kind of harmless. Don´t fight. Why should StarGT create mods (investing time and nerves) and upload them on an infecting website? This is just...senseless. Nobody is forced to visit the website. You just have to understand ONCE how to download from the website and everything is fine. Believe me, I was ranting like you the first times I tried to download. ;)
  14. Hi Miha, great to see you around here!! I am one of those guys who really likes your mods (I am the email man ;) )! Today I downloaded the Silver Spirit, it´s very nice to have this mod. Thank you for that. cheers Jan
  15. I see an other problem with making money with mods - it is highly illegal. Modding is kind of legal limbo, we all know that. There are copyright laws broken and car manufacturers COULD take legal action if they want to. I have seen this in an other community. Modders created a whole mod and then had to delete it due to legal actions taken by the rightholder. Now, when money comes into modding, that´s illegal and manufacturers would watch like a hawk. Don´t think manufacturers do not know about communities like turboduck (even the NSA knows :D ). BTW, great car Reve! @Nobby there was a Porsche stock color called "royal purple" in the early 70s. Not as shiny as yours, but people knew a purple Porsche looked nice then. In the late 80s the 964 became available in "amethyst", too.
  16. @Minime I bet this is helpful - I didn´t even notice all these things!
  17. Just use Cam Hack to change to drivers view. AFAIK it´s not possible to switch the driver position in an other way.
  18. Great, I just wanted to download them from your website. Thanks.
  19. That´s a nice idea. Well, I am more into Swiss plates, but I would take a German one also (big family). :D Could you create the following one? STA - BS 1980 That would be nice.
  20. Is there a plate on it or not? I don´t download mods with license plates. First it looks weird and second the plates are often totally wrong (at least the German ones). I don´t get the point of adding a license plate to a mod, that´s a total ruin.
  21. @Zogger I am back into TDU2 since a few weeks - did you hear about the unofficial patch? Not sure if only the patch is responsible, but since I re-installed it, TDU2 feels way better than over a year ago. Sure, FFB is still missing, but the grip level is much better and the modders work very hard on improving the game. I am boring, so I only play offline and only on Ibiza (I know the island in real life very well). ;) Try it, it´s nice. And please never say never to modding TDU2 - I thought about begging some of the TDU1 modders to come over to TDU2. :hiya: BTW, I think exactly like you - it would be awesome having a game like a mix of GTA5 (even on a console it´s amazing - just stand on a skyscraper at night and watch all the details!) and TDU2 (I don´t know Forza Horizon). At the moment, I am really happy with TDU2. :boss:
  22. Hi Jorge, thanks for your input. I don´t think your F12 sound (I still don´t know if it´s really from you) sounds synthetic - it´s brilliant, even on the GTO. I NEVER loved to use the GTO in TDU2 because of the sounds. Atari sound was a total mess and the most mods were to silent and too "nice". Now I can´t get enough to rev the GTO - 320kms on two evenings. :D As I said, Damys sound is good, there are just little bits missing. Damys sound, combined with the grumble and the loudness from the F12 sound - this could be great. Or the F12 sound combined with Damys startup and idle, a bit more louder. I am sure, the result will be epic.
  23. Take any time you need, mate. It´s great there are some modders out there working on eargasms!
