City Car Driving simulator (ex "3D Instructor")
CDMC replied to Kivlov's topic in Driving & Racing Games
does my old Key will work with this? i bought it few months back when it was 1.2 i think. and now running a clean windows install, so i just can use the key i got in an email? btw DX11 support looks like a great update! i love hammering in a lada off road, its great fun :) that was one of the reasons i bought it. PS. is there an official torrent download? cause from your site it says it will be downloading 10+hours... and my speeds aren't that slow... so what gives? -

bought AC few days back. best sim i ever played so far and i am quite big LFS fan, playing it for 5+ years now. yet AC just smokes it, hands down physics are great, FFB is just epic! i worried about physics before i bought it, i was afraid it will be bad, but i was wrong. they are great! tho i have to say, its quite unforgiving. if you over do it, you're out of the track or in a wall. all cars feel different and you need to get use to the power, Lotus Type 49 is insane! can't wait till they release finished version. from that review in ISR about physics and tire model: Do they live up to their reputation of having the best tire model in the industry?? Yes and then some ! Very easy to get a feel for. What you would expect from Kunos based on Netkar Pro. The best tire feel around when it comes to that “rubber meets the road” feel.

i was running few games in the background, Linux, PS, downloading from steam, playing futurama episode in the other monitor and some other stuff. as for CPU speed, this 8350 @4.4Ghz is enough to handle everything i throw at it. especialy when it comes to multitasking yes, but the biggest amout of ram i give to the ramdisk and use it a cache for browser and as windows temp folder 1.77GB/s :D
-
i had 16GB it was awful :D
-
some people said that 32GB of ram is usless and waste of money, i showed them this New Rig Build IAAG Forum lol its a good thing to have this head room, i probably wont use it all now, but it will come in handy later on. btw in that picture with task manager, i was rendering a video actually :) i like to have lots of ram also because i don't turn off games when im done playing. im done playing and just minimize it. later i can instantly continue where i ended. don't have to turn the game on, wait for all the stupid intros , loading screens and so on :D also its good because i run VM and that thing eats ram. the best part is i can make a ramdisk. that's like 9GB/s reads and writes! so its useful, only when you think about it , this is ridiculas :D

Yep bought 32GB of ram that i mention before, heres a pic don't ask why i did this, i have no idea my self..
