Greetings! I'm pat, from the US. I was actually around tdu central when it was still called tdu-central. Back when Doctor G was the master of sound mods :) sure do miss many of them... I remember TDUZoqqer, though he probably doesn't remember me. I remember StarGT's mods and fifomaniak's sounds (what happened to fifo?) Used to do many a cruise in TDU1 with many people...it was so much fun!!!! I found out only yesterday that TDU1 is back online and I can't even properly express just how unrealistically happy I am!! Thank you guys so much! Also a huge thank you to the guys involved with making TDU2 at least reasonably playable. Especially the cam hack and unofficial patch. (fake look-to-apex gives me headaches) Anyways, I'm mostly a sim racer, AC, rF2, Dirt Rally, GSC, but I love TDU with a true passion. I've lost many days and night to it's captivation and charm. I'm DJSalajutsu - The Salamander on steam, add me if you would like to cruise! Mostly TDU1. I'm still deciding on whether or not to keep TDU2 on my SSD. Not sure. Cheers!:nods:

Yeah I added it. dinput8.dll, right? EDIT: would it be possible because I do not have it installed in the standard directory? I'm using my other hard drive due to space atm. Dunno if this will effect that particular dll or not. Online is working fine, so not sure. EDIT 2 : i found a way around it using Pinnacle Game Profiler. Unfortunately, I could only think of setting up the numpad keys to be emulated by the shifter, so now everytime I use chat, if I'm in 2nd gear, I instantly write a million 2's everywhere lol. I'll have to figure something out, but it works now!

I haven't been here in ages! trying to get back into tdu1 online. Everything is working except one thing. I have t500rs and a G27 shifter with adapter. I cannot map any of the gears. Shifter just doesn't recognize. I know I've been able to before....any help with this? am I missing something?

Hi guys. I just realized that TDU1 is back online!! That makes me WAY too happy! All the new mods and added slots, etc. Amazing. I have one issue that I swear up and down that I didn't have this problem before. I have a T500RS, which is working just fine. I also have a G27 shifter with a FL2 adapter that is direct to PC. I cannot map the gear controls at all. Just doesn't respond... I know I've been able to do this before. Even online is working and everything. patch 1.68 installed G27 fix just in case Project Paradies Megapack 2 Guy's megapack fixes (forgot name) extra slots unlocked. Just dunno what to do, as I've done this before without issues, but now I cannot map them.

I'm running 5.1 no probs. If you guys are using win 7 be sure to turn off sound reduction in your Sounds options>communications tab. strangely this game quiets itself and other programs due to that.

I get the same thing, and I'm lead to believe it was a GAME update. Before I got the new patch, I noticed one time, when opening TDU2, my file checker downloaded a very small file. After that, it seems the game skips ahead a few frames here n there. Same thing, playable, but was definately smoother. I have not had any new updates to my system before this happened. I actually AFTERWORDS updated my ati drivers, hoping maybe they'd help, but the game still seems to skip a little, more so when my avatar's head moves when you turn your car. :confused:

sweeeeet :) i can tell you put some good work into this one. you've definately improved since the beta. I'll test the release in a bit, right now I'm totally cracked out to TDU2 so.... but the vid already shows. definately better low range.

Ok so the 996 cup sound. how to explain this one..... off high is SICK!!!! very good job in high rpms. however lower rpm and a lil high too sounds...uh...metallic. a lil too metallic. but that off high, don't change that, that sounds SO FREAKIN COOL!!! also, I tried this on the RK spyder, not the RT12, i have a sound i really like on it. but the redline is the same, and the sound didn't go high enough. i tried the sound on the Spyker T and it fit perfectly, at 7500 rpm.

Actually G, the lexus update sounds pretty cool :) to me it sounds like the 98 Opel Calibra LM ALOT!!! ima download n see how it fits Edit: I likes it! but it only goes up to about 6500 6550 RPM. It definately reminds me of a Calibra LM or DTM at higher revs. I loove the starter. I will mess with ignition timing and see what works best with it. RK spyder is very close, but needs a bit of changing. THANKS!! :D

so far I haven't had any problem with names at all, unless the Manufacture name is changed, and sometimes conflicts with tuning shops (changing the TVR tuscan to a Mazda Rx7, name included, you cannot bring the car to the tuning shop, says "this vehicle can't be tuned" or "wrong tuning shop for this car") but I have an audi R8 mod with its real name on the KZ1 with no problems. I'm wondering if the mods ppl put on their game correspond to seeing alot of "Car not Downloaded" on players on the map, when I have the megapack. Because I've searched and found a person that had a KZ1, more-so the R8 Mod, and it said they were driving the R8. But then someone driving the same car, more-so, unmodded, it says "Car Not Downloaded"

Hey there all! I've been on the forums for a bit, but never actually introduced myself. Im Salajutsu! Love just cruising with people and trying new mods until TDU2 (unless it ends up crappy). I'm a Psytrance/various genre w/ electronica artist. Mostly psychedelic :D I don't think I can post the actual music site on here...but would also like to know if you can make a radio station for TDU, or maybe a way to broadcast one just for TDU servers. I'm usually on tdu around 5 pm - 3 am eastern standard time US. I'm usually driving mid ranged class cars, D-B mostly. Hope to cruise around with you, inside a game of TDU! lol cheesy rhyme :twisted: And thank you modders for all your great work!! Cheers and Merry Christmas!

There is ONLY a .exe available. I have it, and it just extracts the Alfa_gt files and RIM. I tested and it works, is clean, and looks great!

I'm reallly hoping they bring tdu servers back, or at least players icons n stuff....cuz I was able to replay this game and stay addicted because of the mods :thumbsup:

I'm guessing the Cinque mod was an easy installer? Just download the Veyron 16.4 mod. if its another installer, then go in the "patches" folder that came with the installer and rename the VEHICLE files. generally the two indentical files in this folder, one with an _I at the end, and another one or two that have like _F_01.bnk or something like that. rename those files and replace the ME412 vehicle files (ME_FT.bnk and ME_FT_I.bnk) in TDU\euro\bnk\vehicules. Be sure you have Djey's Magicmap, otherwise the game will crash. Otherwise, if its not an installer as a mod, then you get the two vehicle files, and usually one or two Rims files. just do the same. rename those files to the car you want to replace in your bnk folder. Also beware that some cars are not meant for that car to be replaced for mostly camera reasons. hope this helps :cheeky: EDIT: also, for the rims, rename those files to the right car you want to replace, and replace the file, say in your case, in your vehicle bnk folder, there is another folder at the top that says rim. replace the rim files or file in you vehicules/rim/Chrysler folder. just make sure you name it to exactly what the actual file name is and replace! back up those original files to, in case of an issue with a mod.
