tdu Rassva's Attempt at taking Photos.
rebelinho replied to Rassva's topic in Screens, Videos & Streams
A friend of mine saw me playing (or should I say "messing around with FX.txt in a way that the game looks stoned" :D I'll make a video) and just commented "That game has some ... graphics.". After seeing those pics I can't help but disagree. 10 years or not, this is a beautiful game -

I'm not sure if this is supposed to go here, so if not, please excuse me. I had to share this. Alfa Romeo somehow managed to make/use an engine as beautiful as the car it powers. (Click the pic to follow the link). Also, a great opportunity to properly see the new Ferrari 488 twin-turbo V8.

I have a wheel myself, but as I had to move to another city when entering university, I have/choose to leave my wheel at home to prevent bad grades :D the difference is huge, I really preffer the wheel and in that case Hardcore mode, but I can't stay that much time without TDU, can I? But yes, Hardcore is much better in some aspects, like braking. Even in HC it is too strong, I often reduced the braking force of any mods I install; but I can always set it as low as I want and use Normal mode, whereas I can't really do it for understeer (not in the same degree at least).
-
During a very quick cruise in my Montreal I lost my patience with Harcore mode. I used to use it believing it is/was more realistic, but the understeer and cars that weigh just over 10g isn't realistic in any universe. I've changed the Downforce in TDUPE to 0.625 for my favourite cars and it feels righter, but still remains that bit of stupid. Using the keyboard to drive only makes it even worse, and gamepads don't do much to solve this. So, how about you? Do you use Hardcore mode or not? What are your reasons?

The F12 is top notch. I'm not a big fan of that Murc but nevertheless a great pic -
project cars Project CARS: Low vs Ultra Graphics
rebelinho replied to Ryzza5's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Rain on Low is worse than anything I've ever played, including the Starsky and Hutch game that came in cereal boxes. Night on low is pretty much the same as on Ultra. The rest I would say it isn't far from the expectable -
New favourite car. The 33 Stradale is beautiful, but the interior is too... plain, not exciting. I wanted more. Also, due to the odd physics and very high rev line, the rev meter inside the car would be around the middle when a gear shift was needed. Not cool. So this came up, and took me by storm. Not a perfect mod, but a damn fine job by Miha2795. The hood cam is just prefect, and the interior is great with the sliders on the middle. Amazingly fun to drive, reasonably fast if you want/need to (V8 derived from the one used in 33 Stradale), and dear Lord isn't it beautiful...

+1 on Alfa 4C, that car must be in TDU!

I've installed a Merc SLR McLaren 722 over the stock SLR, and changed its location to the other Mercedes dealership, on the north of the island. The thing is, despite the new SLR being in a showable spot of that dealer, it doesn't show up there, the game jumps the space because it thinks it is empty. For that matter, I can assign the SLR to any dealer, in any spot, and it is never shown. What can be causing this? Any ideas?

You're absolutely right. Fixed

Yes, indeed I have! Here in Portugal Ford Racing 3 was a free gift with some cereals, and it is one of the best games we could play back then. Completely free, lots of cars, rally included... It was just like a dream

Yesternight I didn't have the chance to upload pics, so here they are now. A car I don't wanna like, but one really can't choose... By Miha2795 As I finally settled with a daily driver, it is going to take me around the dealers with new cars. First stop: Ford. All cars by Miha2795 Focus RS500 Escort RS1800 MKII, great classic. Sierra RS500 Cosworth, rally Group A legend. Mustang Mach 1, probably the most beautiful Mustang ever made. GT40 MKII, Le Mans 4-year consecutive winner. Can't get the interior cams right, sorry. Ford GT. Must be used with this sound mod by Urban -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
Nope, both Supercharged, with that whine when shifting or letting it rev down. The Turbo, with the blow off valve sound, is alright
-
Yes, I know that, but when I install the file C63amg.bnk, for example, over Farboud, it sounds like the Supercharged version. I've checked and I don't have Turbocharged checked on TDUPE, so it must be the sound file.
-
Hey acevt06, are the files named correctly? I am 99% sure the file named C63AMG is the Supercharged version... Can you have a look?

If the steering lock is set on 45 then the problem is surely the ride height being set too low -
iLLGT3, I'm using "New Road Textures for TDU v2.2" by WROOM. If you want I'll send you the files
