  2. @glenquidditch seems good except i have fx tweak OFF, not HD. Not sure if it can cause your issue. Wrong kg/bhp value for FXX? LaFerrari lvl3 weight/bhp is correct, but Enzo turned to FXX, and then FXX again full tuned shows possibly wrong value kg/bhp. My FXX is 1100kg and 1103hp., which i bet should result in less than 1.0 value but it is 1.5.. in my garage, car data. Not that it is big problem, just saying.
  3. If nothing works, try to uninstall your sound card drivers from a Device manager. Disable (autorun) and stop all non-windows background apps and restart computer, making sure apps are still stopped and you are not running any non default Windows apps. And try TDU online. If that not help, try to update audio/GPU drivers from Windows or using SDIO app (if WIndows drivers not fix it - use SDIO only for audio drivers because it may install non-working drivers instead of currently working ones). Restart likely needed. This whole suggestion may not work, but maybe worth trying if nothing helps.

Yes, in game it shown 0,03 A What helped to fix invisible cars was to rename C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk and then extract Bnk folder from Platinum pack archive TDU Platinum v1.0.zip. I have seen that the renamed Bnk folder contains more files than the Bnk folder from Platinum pack, so i have copied these additional files over (copy contents and not overwrite existing files). Zonda cars are visible and drive-able now.

Hello, when numerous (not all) Pagani Zonda cars are invisible in garage (example Zonda R) and game crash when i activate such a car (and crash on each start until restoring savegame & switching to other car & restoring back), also when someone drive such Zonda car i do not see him in the game, only player counter is +1. How do you suggest to fix it without full reinstall? What are .bnk files names to check? I do not remember i would replace Zonda .bnk file/s beside what was replaced by applying the Platinum pack, patch 2.

  9. Archiving apps never given me such a dialog. Try extracting using different archiver like 7zip. You can install app that does a checksum of the archive file, i think @Milli not provided the checksum in initial post of the thread?, mine are: MD5 e388e5ec15df0a6d3e6219f275d21a57 SHA256 3096e4d1ff6b9b8fa0730fedf9f54d3d47b39040a768c1bc2e8d68f41837603f TDU Platinum v1.0.zip , 6,0 GiB (6 426 086 558) try downloading torrent in initial post of this topic and inside torrent client like qBittorrent set correct path to your downloaded file, right click the torrent and do Force Recheck, it may detect you have 99.99% and complete the download? Torrent is more reliable way to download large files.

Hi i have been tuning the "Nissan GT-R R35 Liberty Walk Spoiler" (Platinum pack tuning of the Nissan GT-R R35) parameters using TDUF last 2 days and i would like to share my findings about various parameters and i would like to read your feedback on that. + i am attaching the car data patch for TDUF so you can test the car if wanted Summary of this car customization: 200% HP, +7th gear, 18% better brakes, 10% lower gravity center length, 20% higher sharpness TODO: maybe it should turn a bit better into corners. ; 7th gear should maybe start in a bit higher RPM/or just decrease top_speed_kmh a bit? ----Datasheet:---- Max horsepower (bhp): 895->1800 (increases car power, not just on paper) ----Tuning:---- gravity_center_length: 54->50 (lower risk of spinning during steering) top_speed_kmh: 390->490 (rev. limiter of the highest gear is set to allow this speed) coef_grip (UNCHANGED): 1100->900 (went too sideways in corners), 1200(hard to spin in corners) coef_overturning (UNCHANGED): 101->201(too weird behavior, car spins when steering),50(car does not turn) coef_accel (UNCHANGED) 88->160 (car is faster, power figures in garage not changes, similar effect has increase of the "Max horsepower" on Datasheet tab, yet it change power figures so i have modified later one) coef_brake: 110->130 (car slows down more rapidly when braking) coef_suspension (UNCHANGED):100->50(car is lively, has less-stiff suspension, good in corner) coef_sharpness: 98->120; 150=(car is more lively/sharp steering in corners?) ----Transmission:---- Gears: 6->7 final ratio (UNCHANGED): unsure about effect set 7th ratio (if car hits the rev. limiter in highest gear, then increase top_speed_kmh figure) modified ratios of 2nd gear and up flywheel inertia (UNCHANGED): 60->120(unknown result), ->240(car seems to easier go into drift and sideways, quite enjoyable) ----Dampers:---- ride height (UNCHANGED): 105f,115r, ->155,175(chassis is higher above wheels, car responding slower to steering) suspension length (UNCHANGED) front(110), rear(120), setting to 200(unknown result), setting to 20,30(car hard to steer submerged to ground) btw. how do you deal with newton-meter value of the car, because mine stays at original car value..   11. 1) try to search the text you are seeing here in this forum thread 2) try to check your firewall (Windows firewall?) and remove TDU/Atari/ProjectPP from it. Let firewall ask again for permission and allow it, or remove and add programs manually to firewall. I am unsure if needed to add project paradise launcher and also original exe, but i guess PP launcher is necessary. Obviously you launch the game using paradise launcher exe not original exe.
  12. hopefully someone will better reply, maybe problem is that "you have not forwarded port 8889 on your router, or not enabled DMZ on router for your LAN PC. You need to search in your router device settings or your router name and port forwarding on search engines." There are also other port numbers, but i am not sure why so many and if others than one i have mentioned adds any benefits. Btw. if this does not help, it can help to connect via proxy - using VPN which allows port forwarding (not all support it).

Install game, download platinum and copy its files over, install project paradise some details ISSUE: Hi, car is not visible/is invisible or game crashing repeatedly after switching to such a car - i do not know the reason (anyone?), but to get back to the previous working state of the game, you can restore file C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\YOURNICKNAME\playersave\savegame (or playersave?) if you do not have backup, then i do not know the solution, maybe playing with the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules or creating new profile after backing up existing. Can anyone tell possible reasons and other things to try? In my case most of the Zonda cars in the showroom are invisible, except Huayra and 12 S.
  16. i have found this: as said, maybe more simple than edit is to "swap the .btrq file in ... BNK with another .btrq from Saleen S7 for example". i think in Controls/Options/Gearbox set to Manual and disable Auto-clutch, on Driving tab set Clutch (Car) to some key/button. On Xbox pad i have tried left stick down, it is doable, does not seem faster than auto-clutch when considering also occasional engine stall/stop due to low RPM i think.. but after i set it to Y button it took me a few hours and i can say that manual clutch means faster gear shifting (faster driving) in manual gearbox cars (automatic ones works even without clutch button) and also means a bit more enjoyable drive as a result. I only not yet learned how to use handbrake and the clutch button, because without it, engine stall during handbrake. Which button/stick/trigger you are using for clutch/steering/HB if having Xbox pad?
  17. Hi, when some keyboard keys stop working in the game (happens from time to time, for example T key to type, instead only kind of "forbidden" or unsasigned? sound is played. I think that not all keys stop working, but i can even not quit the game thanks to this issue. What is the work around for this without killing the game Ctrl+Alt+Del please?

"please wait" dark screen was caused by program not allowed in firewall, deleting and again adding it in firewall and making sure internet is on, worked. this will likely not help: Go to testdriveunlimited.exe properties -> select compatibility tab -> change settings for all users -> change high dpi settings -> check both "Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program instead of the one in Settings" and "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and set Scaling performed by "Application". Way to debug what is causing this is to first start with blank game, then add patch, test again, try car pack or your custom profile, try launchign game again, then try to apply projectparadise, test again. so you know where the issue started. I have not seen such message and i hardly believe the game is trying to connect the internet. Looks suspicious. Use official game, and platinum pack downloaded from official source. Installation tutorial that worked for me is there.
  19. Hi, anyone knows how to fix the issue where the TDUF modified car is hitting the rev limitter without me pushing the gas pedal? This usually happen when i start the car in neutral position using gas pedal. I release gas immediately, but even the car is in gear it is not moving and hitting the rev limiter. After some seconds it start working. I do not think that it happen always, or sometimes it takes significantly less time. UPDATE: when i apply just small power (gas) at car start, the issue is prevented.. yet if anyone knows what may be causing this? -------- How to discover which car is stored in mini.json export (patch) file (in order to backup original before importing)? Search for: CAR_PHYSICS_DATA and below the first line is ref value and when searching this value in TDUF (there is "REF" button), it is likely that it will jump to the right car?
  20. Some feedback regarding game installation issues (game not launching, missing d3d) and how it was fixed: After installing TDU1, applying 1.66A patch, game complains about SECUROM. After applying n0-dvd patch exe, the game does not start (the small game window with black background appear for a second). After i apply ProjectParadise d3d9.dll to the game direcory, and launch PP exe, it can not find d3dx9_43.dll After i download and run DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) (directx_Jun2010_redist.exe) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 it extracted files and i run extracted DXSETUP.exe file, it install DX update. Win.+R; dxdiag; continue to show that i am running DirectX 11. THen i install graphics card drivers using SDIO (Snappy Driver Instraller Origin) and reboot. Game started launching through paradise launcher. (maybe DX update not did it, maybe graphics drivers & reboot) In order to use my existing TDU profile backup folder, i have not known where it belongs so i created new profile in game, not ticking GameSpy and quit game. Now copied my profile backups - "MyGameNickname" folder and ProfileList.dat file to C:\Users\me\Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\ and launch the game again. Following all tutorials/readme's in Platinum and PP pack, installing graphics drivers and reboot, game is working
  21. there is a "default car" (some call it a hot dog - orange yellow colors) which appears when other driver is using custom car model that you do not have, also maybe sometimes when they are not using Platinum pack but other car pack. Btw. here is a tutorial for TDUF how to export car/physics for sharing with other player.

TUTORIAL: First steps in TDUF software, how to export car modification to a file ( file can be shared with others who can then import it in their DB using TDUF tool by @Djey ) Select database: Then click "Load" and select TDU folder: Select car you want to export to a file: Click "Select" to confirm car selection and "Use all" to export all the car data: I can use this export file (patch) to later import it and overwrite car data in database. Sharing performance/tuning of the car with others or to revert my modifications to the previous state. SUMMARY: ---- How to import car in TDUF software? ---- 1) make sure databasse is loaded: click "..." next to Database field and select Database folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\ click Load, select Test Drive Unlimited folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\ 2) export original car data (optional, you can then return to original state of the car): select car name / Export / TDUF patch / select correct car / Use All / save file 3) import car data: select car name / Import / TDUF patch / click "Save" button to update the database, restart the game, modifications should be live ---------------------------------------------
  23. I was checking the wiki and unable to find the instruction on how to tune car power parameters and the transmission ratios. So far i know this: In TDUF backup and then load the C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\DataBase and find the car. GRIP: Tuning tab: coef_grip: increasing this value car will have more grip and less wheel spin POWER PARAMETERS: Tuning tab, click tuning pack, right arrow icon, "Pack 3" tab (if you have level 3 tuned car), right arrow icon next to AFTER_MARKET_PACKS Increase power_ratio There is also Speed_ratio and Acceleration_ratio ratio, not sure how these differ from power ratio. There are also more parameters like: coef_accel (Tuning tab) Regarding transmission ratios (gear XY ratio, Final ratio), i tried to play with it but the result is confusing. For example i would like to widen it because car got more power.. Thank you
    So nice, nothing much to improve. It is a matter of personal preference, in my case i would like less slow (G,F class) cars and more cars that goes beyond 400km/h mark when tuned, ideally cars for cornering (GTR). Thank you
