  1. Who

    Wow!!!!

welcome aboard mate, enjoy your stay :D
  2. Kinda liked it, didn't seem quite as good as the skate 1 demo, but maybe that was because it was pushing you constantly with that damn timer. will wait till after red faction and race pro before I give this a look
  3. If certain elements were toned down, such as the massive wheels, then i would think it's gorgeous, especially for a shitroen! edit: what the hell has happened to the interface :s
  4. Pink Floyd - Time (infact the whole dark side of the moon album :D) The Knife - Heartbeats Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love The Who - My Generation Sum 41 - The Hell Song all brilliant Songs
  5. Looks brilliant, obviously being USB it'll work with the PC too! just wish they could give it PS3 functionality as I'm thinking of buying one for GT5 next christmas.
  6. I doubt that, if you have it de-restricted possibly, but as it is a 125cc it's detuned so it can be ridden on your CBT, in which case it is limited to 14.6bhp ;)
  7. I'm glad it isn't included if i'm honest! at 18BHP (pawaaaaaaaah) the average may suffer a tad! errr Golf 1.9 TDI Estate - 90bhp VW Transporter 2.1 Injection - 112bhp Total - 202bhp Average - 101bhp see it's just aswell i didn't add the bike or it would be an average of 73!
  8. yeah it's odd, the taxi service is definitely still available as he starts carting you around in a cavalcade, but he doesn't seem to have any sort of base
  9. You know, I think I would like common cars, I honestly don't think open world racing has been done anywhere near as well as it has in TDU , and I don't know about you guys, but I quite like actually cruising rather than a constant rush, it's absolutely lush taking a slower car up the mountain roads. I like a gentle engine note going down the mountain roads, then randomly giving it everything it has when the mood takes me, that's just how I am. On the last few times I played TDU I've actually chosen the Audi TT for that very reason
  10. Just bought myself an original xbox game Jet Set Radio Future Loved the original on the Dreamcast and finally found a copy of this pretty rare game
  11. well, last year I vowed to sort my head out and remove my feeling for my best mate, it hurt us both a lot but me and her are now happily in relationships and I felt i accomplished it, the other one, which was 'never to become *ahem* aroused by her' again didn't have the same success unfortunately. This year revolves around succeeding in college, getting a job (I'll be 18 this year so I can work in places like HMV, or the pubs :D) getting a license for bikes and if it snows in hell, getting the acceptance of the GF's parents
  12. that looks awesome, i'd have one without a doubt!
  13. *cough* not a driving game *cough* *points at general games section* :p
  14. pretty much, as side quests go I think there is about 20, there's not a gratuitous amount really, enough for quite while of gameplay though! they range from brilliant (finding a place for a shed load of ex-slaves) to the pure boring and frustrating (wasteland survival guide... eurgh)
  15. Bought this game and it truly consumed my life! So much fun to be had when playing it! I've essentially completed the campaign, The nest mission is the one with liberty prime, I'm just wrapping up the side quests (I've completed quite a lot now!) And It is simply awesome, such an immersing game, just a a shame there's no quicker way of traveling to new places than walking. Have you guys heard that the DLC changes the ending Also, yes, the GECK looks awesome, may get the PC version too, my dad thinks the game looked brill but can't play with a 360 controller.
  16. really? :s only one i've had that does anything close it is X11, which is slow and essentially useless (try using gIMP with it, it lags with the mouse FFS)
  17. Only way to run P.C. games (decently) inside OS X is by dual booting with windows using boot camp, then using a program called parallels to bring up the necessary stuff to play the game, so you don't have to restart, it just accesses both OS's simultaneously. By the way, when it comes to using MSN, for the love of god don't use messenger for mac. it's pure crap, try Adium as it has many more features, such as offline messages, and looks a lot more pretty, and is infinitely more customizable. Also it is open source and supports load of networks, like AIM, ICQ, Yahoo etc. At one point there was an Xfire support add-on made by someone, abut it doesn't work since the last update, so I think it's another WIP.
  18. just saw the uploaded video (i couldnt get anything to play the file) and wow! that's teh first time i've ever heard you say 'Cinnae' :p
  19. Who

  20. I LOVE bill bailey! Can't wait to get around to my Gf's house to watch it :D
  21. SAY WHAT!? how rich are you! they're well over £1k! ontop of all your other stuff! welcome to the Mac group anyway, soon to be joining us, justin :p
  22. let me see, I had... 2 sets of leathers 2 sets of bike boots New MP3 player (iRiver E100) Apple keyboard (at last! no more messing about with keys!) New sound Card mini RC helicopter clothes and about £160
  23. I was ready to come back with my take on the argument but as nodz says, festivities. Firstly, this argument is going nowhere, you have faith engrained into your mind, I have belief that when I die I go under the ground and stay there. evidently neither of us will back down. I won't pick holes in your religion if you won't make out that I am wrong because Christ is very detached from Christmas for me. Reading your posts you have assumed a high ground and I believe I have the right to defend myself. No high-ground, no conflict, capiche? fair?
  24. +1 on the above, that's one of the things I do like about Christmas. Presents do make a lot of what is Christmas (for me at least) If you think deeply about a present, and you know it is what whoever is receiving it will enjoy, it becomes very special. I love when I get a present that has obviously had a lot of consideration put in to it, cause it shows that people really think of me. I think that's where opinions become split and people think it is all materialistic, because some people only ever receive money or get exactly what they have asked for. Personally I try to make the most of every present as soon as I open it and usually all the presents haven't been opened till after 2 o'clock (even though we start at 8)
  25. The time of year/meaning of the festival? that was the pagan festival of yule. Jesus was not even born 2008 years ago, as King Herod (who ordered the death of all children under whatever) died 2012 years ago... and as Tim said, the actual time was most likely september. ofcourse if you want to believe a religion that Encourages human sacrafice and the burning of non-believers aswell as Rape and worships a god that has actions quoted that are nothing short of evil then good for you. The title Christmas may be the same, but for millions of people, the meaning is not, that is because it has evolved from a festival to an annual celebration, one that people enjoy in their own way. If you want to spend Christmas at the alter, good for you, i'm not stopping you, but hell if i'm gonna be roped into it as we all learn 'the true meaning of Christmas'. I have my Christmas enjoying all I have with me on earth, you go enjoy all that you have in your pages.
