    Mb's 106 S2 Rallye.

    I'll just update this :p Since December i have a new 106 Rallye. It's the Phase 2 model. Little heavier then the S1, but also more torque. Has a 2" Pugsport de-cat exhaust and a Raceland airbox with Green air filter. Still need time to fit these: Simota Oil Catch Can TA Technix 4-2-1 manifold Eibach Sportline springs. Nürburgring action pics: :)

    500bhp on the crank or the wheels? Still damn much on the front wheels though. I know a guy with a SRT-4 and he has 400bhp on the wheels. With his aftermarket traction control setup he is still not able to launch it without much wheelspin. The video itself is very nice. I like your way of filming, it's very smooth and fun to look at. :)

    Depends on the brand and stiffness of the springs. Some aftermarket springs are not as stiff as the OEM ones. The Eibach springs i got for my 106 are 115lbs while the OEM ones are 120lbs. 5lbs doesn't make much difference. There are also H&R springs avaiable which are 150lbs, those would make the front way stiffer and very uncomfortable. If it's a daily i wouldn't recommend much stiffer springs then the OEM ones. Lowering springs are more for looks then for handling. I would also recommend you to not go further then 35mm/40mm on stock shocks. Else your spring is loose in your strut, so when the car get's loose on a fast bump, your spring might move. If you want to go bad-ass low i'd recommend a cheap coilover set. If it's not for track use a cheap sett will do for the looks.

    I know quite some guys who have Rota's on their track cars. And none of them have failed so far. And they get tracked HARD. Semi's + Nürburgring / Spa / Zandvoort.
