Yeah, I don't live near where the fires are, though I had a holiday house close by. Its horrifying how much has been burnt, and how many lives have been lost (its over 130 now confirmed, but that's expected to climb). Supposedly these are the worst fires in Australia's history. The heatwave itself wasn't so bad for me as where I used to live, it was those temperatures all the time. However, for Melbourne, 46 degrees Celsius/ 114.8 degrees Fahrenheit is a hot temperature. E: I wish people didn't call Australia Down Under, I don't think I've ever heard the terminology used here.

I researched around a bit for a decent keyboard that is very comfortable, and this is the one I picked. (For my mum's computer of course) Haven't had any problems with it so far and its been going solid for at least 6 months so to this I say +1 =]

cleaned it out recently? my old hp box, basically exactly like yours, always filled up with dust pretty quick. now that you mention it, it was terrible at cooling. I got a 120mm fan stuck it on the back of the case blowing out and it made a big difference.

Heh all I've seen recently is: Maserati Quattroporte in blue BMW M6 (lives down the road now) BMW M5 (everywhere these days) Porsche Boxster (same as above) uh and yea, where I live isn't exactly what you'd call upmarket... lol

Hey all, I am currently doing a portfolio for my language studies, and happen to be using the Top Gear: Polar Challenge as one of my texts. (The area of study is belonging/not belonging) Anyway, researching further into the episode I found THIS interesting insight into what really went on behind the scenes. If you look at Emil's Diary it gives you a day to day account of how the events unfolded and all. I just thought I'd share this little bit of information for anyone interested.. And yes I know this is now a fairly old episode of Top Gear.. :rolleyes:

I wholeheartedly agree with you Diablo, its true that EA have done their thing with the NFS series. As bad as some people might think undercover is i dont actually mind it too much blackbox did an alright job with what they were given lol

Um I'd say a 9600 GT or 4850 but you really need to up your power supply Ha! I got my friend a GTX260 Factory overclocked edition for less than the cost of a regular 4870 xD runs alot quicker then a regular gtx260 too lol

Uh, those number plates are from NSW where I live. I don't think that is the G3RMAN's WRX... That white car in the background is an early 1990's model Holden Statesman... Not something common in germany... Unless these were taken before he moved back there from Sydney...

No offence to anyone but I think the perception that skylines are overrated is true. Sure they're an engineering marvel and do great with what theyve got (like their P:W). It was funny that the other day I was only thinking to myself, "hmm every nissan I have ever seen looks ugly". This is no exception. Those wheels do nothing for the car if anything I like the original GTR better then this one. I don't hate the GTR its just the simple things, like its designed to be cheap for its performance. This version is not cheap, and its not much better then the original GTR in terms of performance, with only minor modifications. I don't know, I just cant find myself liking this GTR or any skyline for that matter. I have my own tastes, everyone does, but that's no reason to argue. Sure you can share your thoughts but don't bite each others heads off lol. Each car is different and has its own positives and negatives and never forget that. (I'm starting to sound like a philosopher :s)

Yep that exactly. They were standard in that model of commodore but were later replaced by a buick based v6 (like in mine). He has done a lot to the engine and runs about 12lb boost I think.. not sure. His ute is my favourite though xD

Yes it is my sisters ute, and its not a v8 but a straight-6 and if I was gonna include my brothers cars the figures would be much higher haha xD. I've seen a heap of stagea's around where I live, I can count at least 4 local ones. As for skylines, they're almost a dime a dozen in Australia. Almost everywhere I go I manage to spot one.

Played the PC demo about a month ago and it wasnt all that great.. actually TDU's motorbikes are way more fun lol

Gotta love flying lambo's and typical american cars which constantly roll when shown a mild bend in the highway (and then proceed to be stuck against a palm tree :p)
